This is one of the best examples of misunderstanding a shot. Look at abyssal difference between these two. In Chung's original animation the scene builds up towards the eye that is setup to function like a venus flytrap. It's insidious, it meets your expectation even though it makes no sense. The shot is so simple and controlled, you arw drawn to the trap (the curving lock of hair guides us). Look atbthe movie, it just looks like a fly flew accidentlaly into her eye out of nowhere, just randomly.

The issue is that it's just a distraction, you might like the visuals of the video, maybe it's consistent and all, but then what's behind is nothing. The reason nobody watches AI videos is because you have no way of knowing if it's actually goijg to be good and entertaining or just a gimmick. On the other hand, the more effort you put into making a movie, the higher the chance it will be good and the more likely people are going to trade their time to watch it.

There are 3 resons why these posters for a South Korean rendition of Macbeth are great: 1- Strong design, they fit only what is needed, respect the composition without cramming as much as possibke in every corner of the poster 2- Symbolism, this is something rarely used today in posters as they just try to present the actors, nothing more than advertisement 3- The actors (or one actor and one model) are physically together in the photo. Most posters today gather individual photos of the actors and just photobash them together to pretend they ate interacting (you can often see sloppy shadows pr ambient occlusion drawn over them or attempt to correct the lighting on them since the photos were taken under different conditions. Here you can see the natural appearence of two people actually being physically close. Overall, great posters
