What a week for AI model releases.
We’re at the end of the week and we’ve already seen 10+ new models drop, including some major releases.

For me, Claude Opus 5.5 was easily the best release of the week.

if you've got a Max plan I'll advice you try and replicate it
since a lot of people are asking, full setup:
— stock Claude Code, Opus 5.5 on max reasoning, memory off. same prompt as in the post, one-shot, zero edits
— Codex / Astra: same prompt, same machine, max reasoning, memory off
— the machine has my render env: a sample library (909/808 + free packs), Surge XT, some VST effects and a Blender MCP. I didn't tell either model to use any of it
— Opus decided on its own to do a 3D section in Blender. Astra had the same access and didn't
— every frame is code: 2D in skia-python, 3D via a Blender script, audio is a python script that sequences + mixes the samples to the beat grid
— time without render: Codex ~35 min, Claude Code ~1.5h

I built a 3D Earth and solar system orbit game with a shipping dashboard using Space Bunny, the new mystery AI model.
No idea who’s behind it, but here are my initial takeaways:
- Latency: Surprisingly snappy. It doesn’t drag even on longer prompts.
- Context: Holds up to 1M input / 524k output.
- Multimodal: Smoothly reads images and video directly in the middle of a chat without breaking flow.
It’s fast, and can feel flash level. It’s sitting on OpenCode for free this week if you want to try it.
