The assessing officer who issued this notice should be sued.
It ii observed that revenue authorities issue notices without application of mind and just to harrass the tax payers.
@narendramodi kindly don't set the target year 2047 for correcting this major loophole.
This letter kills the ~₹17,000 crore GST demand on Delta Corp.
Goa’s final order replaces that show-cause notice with a demand of about ₹116 crore, on chips sold, not gross bets. Penalty and interest on top.
1. In 2023, GST authorities issued Delta Corp and two Goa subsidiaries show-cause notices of about ₹17,000 crore for July 2017–March 2022, taxing gross bets.
2. The company fought it to the Supreme Court. In May 2026 the court sent those notices back to be valued on chips sold, not gross bets.
3. On 25 September 2026 Goa passed the final orders on the same notices, for the same period. The demand is now about ₹116 crore, plus penalty and interest.
Sikkim for that period is still open. The company can still appeal.
This letter kills the ₹17,000 crore demand because it is the final order on that same notice and period. What survives is about ₹116 crore.
