Writer, researcher, and film historian focusing especially on the silent/pre-Code eras (and the overlooked faces within). I talk a lot about Jean Harlow.
I was lucky enough to receive a fabulous tour of Jean Harlow’s 1932 custom-built mansion on South Beverly Glen Boulevard, now listed for the first time in decades. Read about the history of this well-preserved, idiosyncratic property and take a walkthrough with me at link below:
Incredible news to close the year! The 1926 silent film THE LITTLE IRISH GIRL, considered lost since the late 1940s has been found in Australia and has now been restored by the National Film and Sound Archive. The film stars Dolores Costello and John Harron.
