And see, that’s so sad because Jones is fully prepared to sacrifice himself for the sake of the multiverse as you’d expect from a hero, and sometimes you wonder if he’s truly hesitant to trust others or if he just doesn’t want them to be attached to him before he’s gone for good

It makes me think back to when he first got his immortality that he messed with the many ways to die, and I’m sure has become a lot more desensitized to the idea of dying now. But ya know, with immortality being a perk of working for IO, it makes me think about how dying/-

Sometimes I wonder if Hope, despite her love and support for Jones as a father figure Will eventually grow tired of playing a hero like him because of his treatment of disaster as a normal Tuesday to cope with chaos while she’s actively terrified of every possible outcome

That she’ll at some point not accept the whole “being chosen to be a hero” idea because she’s not as immediately equipped to handle it like him (at least with some form of confidence he encapsulates despite it not being entirely there, and he is in fact afraid like her)

I like to think the Foundation often laments about his past with Geno, but not in a way that reveals anything personally or gives anyone any details than Geno being a perfectionist douchebag. If you want my opinion, I DO however think he will eventually tell Jones specifically-

And the opportunity to give him something to truly live for again Hence my hc about the insecurity with ZP powers, but eventually remedying that with the reassurance of people who he accepts being that close to. Which evidently doesn’t come easily anymore, same with Foundie
