I'm sorry but this is tantamount to playing with dolls. These two events do not have a causal relationship. Netanyahu was always going to attack Mamdani (regardless of poll numbers, that's absurd) and Mamdani had a vast array of options. He chose cowardice and a PR stunt
Mayor Mamdani sat for dinner with Palestinian New Yorkers who have lost family members in Gaza and refugees who have had to flee.
The next day, war criminal Netanyahu attacked him at the UN, because his poll numbers in Israel are looking brutal and cheap shots at Zohran help.

Genuinely can't begin to wrap my head around how you can think this is anything other then really gross. Instead of arresting the man who ruined their lives and killed their families, Mamdani lets them plant trees while arresting protestors and giving Netanyahu an NYPD escort

So this performative nonsense is meant to distract from the fact that hundreds of NYPD vehicles escorted Netanyahu to the UN today, giving him a grander welcome than most, if not all, heads of state. Meanwhile the NYPD was arresting anti-genocide protesters in the streets.
A far cry from campaigning on arresting Netanyahu. Now he won’t arrest him, won’t protest him, and says he doesn’t even encourage New Yorkers to protest.
