a brief pause for myself
Started becoming profitable with a $300 solana wallet and less than 500 followers, around 2.5 years ago.
Now I'm riding 6fig positions in another emerging bull market and somehow my follower count also grew over 100x in that same period, just from posting my trading journey and framework every single day. Thank you for following.
It's becoming less about making more money now, trading the best narratives based on thesis work and posting this content have become part of what fulfills me in life. Whatever comes next in life, I feel happy and grateful for the opportunity the financial markets have given me.
I'm 32 now and I have to say, in those two and a half years, I've achieved an incredible amount. For the fast paced new generation, my bank account hit zero at the end of every month until I was 29 and life was still good regardless. The perception of time here on CT is completely different from reality. People think everything has to happen instantly, within the same year.
No. Just start posting, start trading, start building. Learn every single day, put in the hours and with time, compounding, and the learning curve, you'll find your own rhythm and naturally get better at reading market dynamics or building a lifelong skillset.
I started this journey with the inner drive to prove to everyone that I'd make it in trading, that I could achieve financial independence and that everyone who doubted me would eventually see just how successful I'd become.
Now I've arrived at a state of inner balance, of knowing what I'm capable of and the freedom that comes with it, free from external pressures and other people's opinions. This is my life and my focus is set on this path.
All the negative emotions and thoughts that come at me from the outside no longer have any effect on me. Years of hard work built the personality and skillset to simply smile through it all now. And that's a good feeling.
I don't have to prove anything to anyone and no one around me needs to know how successful I am. True success and this is something I've learned over the years, is being at peace with yourself, internally, on your own terms.
I know this goal, becoming financially independent through trading, is a dream for a lot of young people, which is why I try to share as much of my framework as possible on this account. But you have to put in those insane amounts of work hours while your friends and family are enjoying their weekends. That part is non negotiable.
Never give up. Hard work always pays off. Grind through the incredibly demanding, mind bending first stage.
I genuinely hope you'll make it and if it's not through trading, then in some other area of life.
