Professional bodybuilding might be the unhealthiest major sport.
Decades of PEDs. Extreme bodyweight. Brutal cuts. Dehydration. Diuretics. Getting stage-lean over and over. And the reward for coming off? You feel smaller, weaker, flatter.
Strongman is probably #2: enormous bodyweight, PEDs at the top, and injuries are almost part of the job.
Not sure if its the same for everyone but Bacopa Monnieri makes me lethargic and reduce motivation and the symptoms don't improve even after 1 to 2 months while adjusting dosages as well.
Ashwagandha isn't a universal morning fix. Meta-analyses show high heterogeneity (I² ∼ 90%), and while it can lower serum cortisol, trials like Albalawi (2025) found that lower cortisol didn't even translate to significant improvements in perceived stress.
Add in thyroid stimulation and variable extract profiles, and treating it like a blanket cure-all does people a disservice.

Testosterone gel improved DESIRE, but not erection.
Desire and erection are different problems. Different fixes.
Don't buy a booster before you rule out the real causes
You don't need gear to build muscle and lose fat at the same time.
Body recomp is very real naturally, but only if you fall into one of three buckets:

2- You're returning after a long layoff (muscle memory)
3- You're carrying extra body fat (>25% for men, >32% for women)
If you're already lean and intermediate, chasing simultaneous recomp usually just means spinning your wheels.
NMN does exactly what the label promises. Oral doses raise blood NAD+, reliably and dose-dependently.
Then a 2026 meta-analysis of 15 trials found no significant effect on body weight, BMI, fasting glucose or lipids.
The biomarker moves. The outcome doesn't.
Full breakdown with every trial: the 250 mg dose that did move muscle insulin sensitivity, the runners whose oxygen efficiency improved, and the over-60 meta-analysis that found nothing.
