he’s literally about to go on tour.. his tour starts in TWO DAYS.. so can someone PLEASE make it make sense how deliberately deactivating his own instagram and pretending he got hacked would benefit him in ANY way right now?? 😭 like do these ppl fr think ben went, “hmmm… i need more attention immediately before my tour, so I’m going to deliberately remove one of the accounts through which I can turn attention into actual tour promotion.. YES! that will do it!” like do you not see just how STUPID and NONSENSICAL that sounds?? like people i beg.. let’s put our braincells to good use here.. this is quite literally one of the WORST possible times for him to voluntarily make one of his main social media accounts disappear.. he’s been consistently posting on there and now, two days before his tour starts, he suddenly loses the ability to use an account with 72k followers to promote it, post reminders, share dates, ticket links, repost venues, post rehearsals, countdowns, tour updates etc.. and before anyone goes “well he still has tiktok”.. YES?? 😭 nobody said instagram is the only platform he has.. he actually has more followers on tiktok than he does on his main instagram AND he has the mylovestaysontour instagram account too, although that has significantly fewer followers.. BUT you do realise that his audiences across those accounts are NOT necessarily the exact same group of people, right?? there are people who follow him exclusively on instagram.. people who follow him exclusively on tiktok.. people who follow both.. people who probably don’t even know the tour account exists.. having more followers on tiktok doesn’t magically transport all 72k people following his main instagram over there 😭 if someone follows ben on instagram but doesn’t follow his tiktok or the tour account, then while his main account is unavailable, he has lost that direct way of reaching that person.. THAT’S the point.. and if anything, the fact that he has multiple platforms makes deliberately removing one of them even MORE pointless if the supposed motive is promoting his tour 😭 because wouldn’t you want ALL of them available?? tiktok + his main instagram + the mylovestaysontour instagram acc. gives him more opportunities to reach people than tiktok + the smaller tour account.. and again.. people keep saying “attention” like that word alone somehow explains the motive but WHAT attention is he actually gaining from this?? that he got YOU to talk about some more about him?? that you made another post calling him an attention seeker and saying he supposedly did this to sell more tickets?? okay.. and then WHAT??? how does YOU talking about him translate into him selling more tickets?? where is the connection between “ben’s instagram disappeared” and “therefore i’m going to spend money to see ben on tour”?? like congratulations i guess?? you talked about him.. the same people who already talk about him practically non stop and about everything he does.. are talking about him AGAIN.. how does that materially benefit him?? attention isn’t some magical currency where every mention of someone automatically turns into money, streams, new fans or ticket sales.. especially when a huge portion of this supposed “attention” is literally people who already dislike him calling him an attention seeker and accusing him of faking being hacked.. most normal/casual followers probably have absolutely NO idea any of this discourse is even happening.. unless you’re actively in these fandom spaces watching people discuss his account, you might not even know what happened.. you might just notice his account isn’t there, IF you happen to look for it.. meanwhile, the one place where he could actually turn attention from his instagram followers towards something useful for his career is.. HIS INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT.. THE ACCOUNT HE NOW DOESN’T HAVE.. (continued below… 👇)

and he now can’t even use THAT account to capitalize on this supposed attention!! he can’t suddenly post “anyway here are my tour dates” to those 72k followers.. can’t share a ticket link.. can’t repost venues.. can’t post a countdown.. can’t post tour content.. can’t redirect those followers towards his music, tickets or his other accounts FROM the account they already chose to follow.. so if this is supposedly some calculated publicity stunt designed to sell tickets, what is the actual conversion supposed to be?? ben deliberately makes his 72k-follower instagram disappear TWO DAYS before tour → fandom accounts notice → people who already talk about him talk about him some more and call him an attention seeker → ??? → more people buy tickets WHAT is happening in the “???” step??😭 because someone who had absolutely no intention of going to his show isn’t suddenly gonna hear, “omg ben’s instagram got hacked?!” and go “OMG!! where can i buy concert tickets? 😍” 😭 people who already have tickets already have tickets.. people who weren’t interested aren’t suddenly going to be interested because his instagram disappeared.. 😆 and people who potentially COULD be reached by tour promotion on his instagram are now LESS reachable through that particular platform because.. again.. HIS ACCOUNT ISN’T THERE.. so please explain where the GENIUS “marketing strategy” is 😭🤦🏻‍♀️ i mean.. genuinely.. at that point ben would almost have to WANT to SELF SABOTAGE 😭 because deliberately taking down one of your own established platforms TWO DAYS before your tour starts, losing access to that audience during an important promotional window and then lying about being hacked just so some people online, who already talk about you 24/7, will negatively talk about you some more, would be such an absolutely BIZARRE trade off.. and i do NOT take ben for a stupid person at all.. whatever anyone personally thinks of him, i’ve seen absolutely nothing that makes me think he’d think this is somehow a “clever” way to sell more tickets.. because it is NOT.. because again.. what is he voluntarily giving up and what is he supposedly getting in return?? he gives up access to an established account with 72k followers during the days immediately leading into his tour.. and in exchange he gets.. the same fandom circles that already yap about him yapping about him some more?? and NEGATIVELY at that?? 😭 at some point this theory requires ben to simultaneously be this calculated MASTERMIND who supposedly planned the timing perfectly for maximum attention AND someone making such a COUNTERPRODUCTIVE decision that he’s actively making it HARDER for himself to promote the very thing that he supposedly ORCHESTRARED the entire “STUNT” to promote 😭😂 those two versions of him don’t exactly fit together.. 😆🙃 and then apparently he specifically chose JENNA’S BIRTHDAY to do all of this for even MORE “attention”?? what does jenna’s birthday add to this supposed “ticket selling strategy”?? something happening on her birthday does not automatically mean it happened BECAUSE it’s her birthday.. and honestly.. if we’re doing conspiracy theories then let me join in on the fun too lol 😂 because i could just as EASILY say whoever hacked him is someone in the fandom and therefore they SPECIFICALLY chose today PRECISELY BECAUSE it’s jenna’s birthday and they knew EXACTLY what people would do with that sort of coincidence.. immediately ACCUSE ben of FAKING the whole thing for attention and somehow make it about jenna.. see how easy that is? lol anyways.. and also.. the “if nothing gets leaked then there was probably nothing there” thing makes absolutely no sense either.. because (continued below… 👇)
