"Fool to Cry" was Ween's original submission for the Beautiful Girls soundtrack, replaced by "I'll Miss You" after the Rolling Stones denied rights. Long thought to be a Mollusk outtake, it was actually written post-Chocolate and Cheese

Session legend Buddy Harman played drums on "You Were The Fool." After hearing the demo, he asked, “You don’t mind if I use my hands, do you?” and did just that. Producer Ben Vaughn dubbed the song "hippie-country."

Deaner with session musician Pete Wade (RIP), who played the 6-string bass solo on Ween's "Piss Up a Rope." Producer Ben Vaughn ran the bass through a synth pedal because the original solo sounded "too polite." "Ween use it on almost everything." 🎸

Producer Ben Vaughn recently visited the Nashville hotel where Ween wrote "Japanese Cowboy." Told they needed a single on the last day of recording 12GCG, Gene & Dean wrote it on Shoney’s stationery. After Vangelis sued over "Chariots of Fire", Ween merged both songs live in 1996
