Al-Qaeda has spent decades attacking the Muslim Brotherhood’s methods. Yet on Gaza, it is praising Brotherhood scholars and citing IUMS fatwas to reinforce its own calls for jihad.
That overlap is worth paying attention to.

Why is al-Qaeda quoting Muslim Brotherhood scholars on Gaza?
It’s not a one-off. Despite its longstanding hostility toward the Brotherhood, al-Qaeda has cited IUMS fatwas calling for jihad and praised senior IUMS scholars.
