My thoughts on the SR-71 revival. Anybody recognize this picture? Remember when the Iranians "hacked" our most high tech stealth drone and landed it at their airport? The SR-71 is not connected to skynet, its 100% analo. Lazer guided astral navigation. Theres no satellite uplinks, it can't be fucked with. Its pure machine no live feed no nothing going out, nothing coming in. Just an intelligence payload and a shit ton of thrust. High tech isnt always better. And to the people worried about "the cost" just shut up.

Im so glad my dreams of seeing this thing fly are not totally gone. I was honored to have even touched one at the STRATCOM Museum in Ashland Nebraska. They have the Tagboard drone and everything. One of my favorite places in the world to visit. I wonder if they'll fire up the original Oxcart frames. They're smaller and faster than the SR-71.
