Does anyone recognize this movie from the lobby scene? Movie was out in 2018, but set in 1969?

A 9-month-old baby was trapped inside a burning car while the doors refused to open. As the flames continued to spread, car after car kept just driving past. Wesley Beynon and his uncle Marc Willding were the first ones who stopped. They pulled over, ran toward the car and realized the baby was still trapped inside. Marc tried to help from the passenger side while Wesley forced his way in through the driver’s side and climbed across the burning vehicle to reach her. Inside, 9-month-old Lilah was still strapped into her seat as the fire continued to grow around them. Wesley managed to get the passenger door open from inside, and Marc reached in, unclipped her and pulled her to safety. They had barely gotten Lilah clear when the car became engulfed in flames. Her mother later reunited with Wesley and Marc and said her daughter will grow up knowing exactly who saved her life. They were just two men driving by that day. But when everyone else kept going, they stopped. These are the kinds of people the internet should be talking about.

Al Naslaa Rock in Saudi Arabia looks laser-cut in half. The 400-million-year-old sandstone sits on twin pedestals, its straight split smoothed by wind and sand, with 3,000-year-old inscriptions on its face.

A tripped breaker stops halfway. This one is switched all the way off. Landlord films a “typical day at work.” Tenant says the heat dies every night he gets home and wants money back. Panel opens. Furnace breaker isn’t in the trip spot. It’s fully off, the way a hand leaves it. He flips it on and says if it snaps off by itself, it’s a real fault. If it only dies when the guy walks in, somebody killed it. Rent discount. He turned the breaker off himself.

Neighbor blocks the easement with her car and tells him he can’t use the service road. He asks her to move it so he can get a quad through and haul bricks. She won’t. He tells her to call the police. Then he says if he hits the car, the damage is on her, because she refused to move it. She says no, it’s on him. He also brings up her 90-year-old mother having to walk the hill all winter. Easement law usually says you can’t block the road. It does not say you get to bump the car and call it her fault. Who’s actually wrong here?

I definitely wouldn’t have guessed this one. 😂 Some very familiar faces passed through The Dick Van Dyke Show over the years. Which one doesn’t belong? 👀

Normally, you expect to see weird things at Walmart, like crazy humans in the wild. This time, it’s very expensive cool kittens in the wild, and I want to take one home. It’s almost like you are in the Congo.

Would you want a legitimate third party in America that could actually compete with Democrats and Republicans? I’ve thought about this for a long time because I don’t believe every American fits neatly into one of two political boxes. You can agree with Republicans on some issues, Democrats on others, and disagree with both on plenty. I’d like to see what would happen if there were a real third party with national organization, serious candidates, and ballot access across the country—not just an Independent candidate popping up every four years. Give Americans three legitimate choices and let the voters decide where they belong.

The slots started negotiating before I cleared the carpet. Scooters parked like assigned seats. Screens glowing like they had personal news. Then craps, roulette, and football on the TVs. It’s a living room with worse odds. I looked, laughed at myself, and kept walking. The house does not need my help tonight.

A 17-year-old boy was punched inside his high school classroom, ran into the hallway and moments later went over a FOURTH-FLOOR railing to his death. Now his family says what happened before that horrifying video began is just as important. They say Xavier had been bullied for YEARS. Xavier Nungaray was a senior at Benjamin Franklin High School in Los Angeles when a confrontation broke out Wednesday. Video circulating from inside the school shows a teacher trying to intervene before another student strikes Xavier. The Los Angeles Times reports another video shows the attacker shouting racial slurs. A student who witnessed the confrontation told ABC7 the other boy kept throwing punches while Xavier wasn't fighting back. Xavier got up, ran from the classroom and, moments later, went over a fourth-floor railing. He was rushed to a hospital, where he died. Police are still investigating exactly what happened and say they have found no evidence of foul play in his death. But Xavier's family says this wasn't the first time he had been bullied. His stepmother says he had endured bullying throughout high school but was afraid to report it because he feared HE would be the one who got punished. His aunt says it became so bad that Xavier wanted to change schools. And this is where I don't want the horrifying final moments of his life to erase the 17 years that came before them. A classmate who had known Xavier since SECOND GRADE remembers a funny kid who loved laughing at everyone else's jokes. She says he was the kind of friend who would be there when you needed him and seemed to always have a smile. Hundreds of people have now gathered outside his school, surrounding his pictures with flowers and candles. His family is preparing to bury him. And parents who send their own children through school doors every morning believing they'll be safe are left with some incredibly difficult questions about what happened here. Xavier's family believes the bullying he endured matters, while investigators are still working to determine the circumstances surrounding his death. So rather than pretending we already know every answer, maybe we should ask a question that could matter for the NEXT child: If a kid is being bullied but is too afraid to tell an adult because he thinks HE might get in trouble, how are parents and teachers supposed to recognize it before something terrible happens? Please share condolences and prayers for Xavier's family here. His life mattered. RIP.

✨ 💛YOU GET TO CHOOSE WHAT YOU FEED. 💛✨ Every day, we’re surrounded by competing frequencies. Joy or bitterness. Gratitude or resentment. Peace or chaos. Faith or fear. Encouragement or criticism. Love or hatred. And here’s the powerful part: we may not control what enters our space, but we do have a choice about what we allow to take residence within us. Negativity grows when it is continually fed with attention, reaction, outrage, and repetition. But so does positivity. Gratitude changes what we notice. Encouragement changes what we give to others. Peace changes how we respond. Faith changes where we place our focus when circumstances become difficult. That doesn’t mean pretending darkness doesn’t exist. Discernment recognizes darkness without allowing darkness to determine who we become. Scripture says: “Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable… think about such things.” — Philippians 4:8 That is intentional living. Protect what enters your mind. Guard what settles in your heart. Be selective about what receives your energy. You don’t have to match every negative frequency that reaches you. Sometimes the strongest response is to change the frequency entirely. Choose faith. Choose gratitude. Choose peace. Choose joy. Choose love. ⚔️❤️ ~ Warrior ~ ❤️⚔️ 𝒮𝐻𝒜𝐿𝒪𝑀 𝒫𝐸𝒜𝒞𝐸 & 𝒫𝒪𝒮𝐼𝒯𝐼𝒱𝐼𝒯𝒴

This is exactly where AI should never cross the line. Chris Pelkey’s family wanted the court to hear the kind of person he was, and I understand that. But the words in that video weren’t his. His sister wrote the script, and AI gave those words his face and voice. The sentencing judge said he “loved” the video and treated the forgiveness in it as genuine. The appeals court said that was the problem. AI had turned what the family imagined Chris might say into something that looked and sounded like Chris actually saying it. His manslaughter conviction still stands. It’s the sentence that was thrown out, and now he has to be resentenced. AI can recreate a face and a voice. It cannot speak for the dead.
An Arizona man convicted of killing a road-rage victim will be resentenced after an AI-generated video of the victim forgiving him was improperly used during sentencing. The initial judge said he felt that the AI-generated depiction of the victim portrayed “genuine forgiveness.”
