If this bill passes, then preservation of all media, historical, gaming, movies, etc, will die. Piracy, while obviously illegal, is necessary to allow people to have access to media that would otherwise be locked behind a paywall, destroyed or altered. Straight up authoritarian

As an Australian, this new Steam update forcing Credit Cards for R18 games is SO fucking stupid. WHY is a debit card not enough? We have Accounts that are 15+ y/o, why are those restricted? Like, I'm sorry, but I hate living in this country sometimes, and this is NOT helping.
