today, one year ago, I decided to create this account
here’s a quick recap of the year:
- started this account because I was vibecoding a SaaS (basically a ChatGPT wrapper)
- uni started again, and I got into the fintech ecosystem since I’ve always been interested in investment banking and the vc world
- took a deep dive into prediction markets after seeing their real potential
- started posting about prediction markets and saw more growth
- paid for X premium just becsause it let me write longer posts
- got affiliated with Kalshi Ecosystem and created
@kalshidata (shoutout to
@analystworking &
@aulijk)
- started growing it by sharing daily highlights on volume, trades, market share, etc
- bounced back at uni after some bad midterm exams
- finished the first semester in late January
- stopped being a kalshi eco affiliate (they removed the badges)
- joined
@arespro as an affiliate to focus on prediction markets
- left
@arespro after realizing they were focused on memecoins
- kept growing
@kalshidata
- had some good calls and meetings with cracked and experienced people
- uni started again
- competed in
@forumdotmarket’s trading competitions (placed 2nd and 3rd in a few weeks) – very bullish on attention markets btw
- more calls that led nowhere
- got an offer to sell
@kalshidata
- uni took up a lot of my time, especially with lab sessions and final projects
- finished uni
- grew
@kalshidata to 1.3k+ followers
and today it’s officially been a year since I started this account on twitter
it’s been a great journey so far and I want to thank
@Kalshi for the opportunity they gave me, which allowed me to grow within the prediction markets industry by “building”
@kalshidata (
@dkposts developed the web – kalshidata dot com)
I’m not really sure what my next steps will be, maybe joining a startup while I’m still at uni or building something of my own, but we’ll see
I’m always happy to chat, so feel free to shoot me a DM
