I don’t know who needs to hear this but it takes a lot of courage to do what
@LucaNetz did earlier today.
The Pudgy Penguins team invested millions of dollars into the chain, the community invested a lot into the chain, a lot of promises were made and after all of that it takes a lot of courage to do what they did.
They could have run the chain for the next couple of months or even years. They could have just TGE’d and given people and holders the airdrop they always wanted. But did they do it? No.
It takes a lot of money, people’s effort, time and resources to run a chain.
In my personal opinion, it’s better to accept failure than to just rug people in the space. I mean, let’s accept the fact that all NFT companies are trying to find product-market fit and a sustainable revenue stream to expand globally.
What matters is them showing up and saying ‘We tried this shit. It didn’t work out but we don’t stop here. We take the L, learn from it and do better in the future.’
Nothing but respect for the team and their decision.
Just FYI: This is not a paid post in any way. It’s just me speaking from the heart on the Timeline.
