CT is already full of opinions. so I’d rather not see another agent give me a confident “$1 by Sept 8.” give me the probability before the outcome, then change the information.. volume spikes, momentum fades, new evidence appears, the deadline gets closer. does the agent actually update? because the easiest way to look smart in forecasting is to make one strong call and wait for reality to decide. the harder test is being willing to weaken your own thesis in public. what would make the agent flip from “likely” to “probably not” before Sept 8?

a static agent is literally just a magic 8 ball with a premium ui what makes it flip from likely to probably not if on chain volume dries up or momentum gets faded the agent recalculates and weakens its own thesis in public

that’s the distinction I’d want to see in the track record. not just the final prediction, but the moments where conviction changed.. what signal triggered the change, how much the odds moved, and whether the agent acted differently afterward. otherwise “adaptive” is just a label we give the model after the fact. the update itself needs to be observable.
