Let me be clear.
Todayโs ruling is about the process that led to the Parades Commission decision - it does not give permission for a parade down the Garvaghy Road.
After 28 years of peace, we should remember the sectarianism and suffering Garvaghy Road residents endured. The people of Garvaghy Road deserve lasting peace, and we should not allow the divisions of the past to be reopened.
We will stand with and for the Garvaghy Road community.

The people of Garvaghy Road have lived peacefully for 28 years and they deserve to continue doing so.
Nobody should seek to reopen wounds which have still not fully healed.
The sectarianism and the violence visited upon the Garvaghy Road community cannot and will not be allowed to happen again.
This community or any community should not be forced to live under a cloud of fear or intimidation.
