Picture has NC State going against itself. Sounds about right.
A bipartisan bill proposing sweeping changes to how college sports operate passed the Senate. Here’s what’s happening. (Corrects an earlier image, now deleted, that incorrectly said the Senate passed a law.) 🔗 on.wsj.com/4ypYBqE

I’m watching playoff baseball with gambling lines on my screen and the announcers are talking about wagers. But Pete Rose is still a piece of shit, right? Fuck off.

Reminder—the very same guy was slurping Will Wade this time last year. Proceed accordingly.

Good lord--the injuries are piling up fast for the Panthers
#Panthers G Damien Lewis will be sidelined a few weeks with a UCL injury in his elbow, sources tell me and @RapSheet. Medical evaluations are still ongoing but Carolina’s best lineman is set to miss the game against the #Lions. A bye in Week 5 so maybe only one game missed.

Tom Suiter and Bob Holliday with the report. Classic WRAL.
There was a celebration of life yesterday for former @PackMensBball champion Phil Spence. Back in 1999, we did a story with Phil on the frightful fall of David Thompson. Phil was fantastic recalling the horrific moment that turned into motivation. RIP Phil

My favorite @Canes Stanley Cup ring bits:
* Removable puck pendant, with player's name/number
* Secret hidden @StormyCanes!
* Inside the ring are all the players' numbers in a circle around North Carolina flag.
Yup -- their Cup rings have a Storm Surge homage. Awesome. #NHL
