We are deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Joshua Baer. Josh was a major pillar of Austin’s tech and startup community and mentored many businesses and entrepreneurs in our space. The Capital Factory, Josh’s startup accelerator and coworking space, was the first home for WP Engine, and Josh himself, our first angel investor. We are grateful for his early belief in us and for his guidance throughout our journey. Josh believed in ideas and the people behind them and dedicated his career to helping founders build, grow, and succeed. His leadership and kindness will be incredibly missed within the community. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends.
