Despite the revival of trenches on both Solana and Robinhood in recent weeks, @Collector_Crypt pack openings have continued to trend higher on a weekly basis. Excluding June (where airdrops provided an additional boost in addition to Solflare partnership launch and June Gacha Games), over $40m+ worth of packs were opened last week alone. A key driver has been CC's expanding partnership ecosystem, with sustained baseline contributions of roughly 5-15% of weekly pack opening volume in recent weeks. The recent partnership with Jupiter helped pushed DAU to a new ATH of ~2k. While launch day spikes are temporary, a more important trend to look at is the growth in recurring users. Recurring DAUs have increased from just 300+ when partnerships began to ramp up in May to 700+ today, suggesting that these new integrations are not only driving user acquisition but helping to build growing base of new repeat users. this is a good article, covers a lot of the details on @Collector_Crypt, feels like it's mostly flew under the radar but one of the few crypto consumer apps that has been doing well w/ essentially all user & revenue metrics trending up & to the right apps with highest ceilings are the ones that also draw interest from crowds external to crypto, what was interesting about this specifically to me is that it's actually +EV for users to draw trading cards from the packs which is unlike 99% of the gacha models, emphasis on giving back to the users is apparent @solana needs more of these to continue doing well

$CARDS generates almost the same revenue as $VVV which is at 1B+ market cap but because its on solana instead of base & the zoomers have decided to only bid memes it still sits at $40M differentiated app in its own vertical with very little competition

this is arguably the best application of crypto I've seen yet — everyone needs to talk about it more traditional mapping is a monopoly, expensive, and inefficient how it works is that Google has cars that drive around and gather data periodically and charge super high fees since this data is very hard to get with crypto, you can give people all around the world the ability to earn by adding dashcams to their cars and map the world in real-time the result is that you get: i) much fresher mapping data (Google Maps might take months to re-map something!!) ii) much better economics iii) much better composability and network effects the end result is a much better real-time world map than any centralized institution can provide the team behind it is @Hivemapper and they're building on Solana
