Wales needs homes. But “we need housing” cannot become a blank cheque for bad development. Across 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 councils are being asked to accommodate more homes while communities rightly ask: what about parking, roads, schools, GP capacity, infrastructure and quality of life? Build homes, yes. But build the right homes, in the right places, with the infrastructure to support them. Planning should serve communities, not simply hit numbers.
