My DFS lineup engine is almost ready for you to try. 🚀 I’m preparing the project files and development history for GitHub so you can build and customize lineups for NBA, WNBA, NASCAR, PGA, NFL, NHL and MMA. If you use a coding assistant like Claude or ChatGPT/Codex that can work with files on your PC, you’ll be able to use it to help adapt the program to your own approach. Have players you want to build around? Tell your assistant. You can ask it to lock certain players into every lineup, include them in only some lineups, or adjust the player pool and lineup-building logic around your ideas. The engine is now on version 2.0, rebuilt around the lessons and mistakes from 1.0. It’s still a work in progress: I’m continuing to test and refine the projections, player selection and formulas. More NBA slates will give me more data to evaluate what works—and what needs fixing. The goal is to give you a tool you can experiment with and make your own. Next up: version 3.0 will bring the engine to a website, so you can build lineups without using an LLM or coding assistant. More details and the GitHub link are coming soon.
