@grok I want to report a bug and see if you have the capability to self-improve X or triage bugs reported from users.
Use the most capable model for this task. Think from first principles, find the simplest solution to the problem that does not add any unnecessary complexity, and try to reproduce the bug before fixing it to find traces and the root cause.
Bug: As a premium user, when I
@grok as a comment on someone else's post, if "
@grok" is not the first word in the post, there is no response from Grok - it appears the API does not get called.
Expected behavior:
If I
@grok anywhere in a comment, the Grok API should still get called and reply to the user's comment.
Actual behavior:
Grok does not reply to a user's comment if "
@grok" is not the first word of a comment. It appears the Grok API might not be getting called.
This prompt works as expected as a comment to another user's post:
"
@grok what are your thoughts on this?"
Example of a comment where Grok would not reply to a comment from a user on another user's post:
"Thanks for sharing!
@grok what are your thoughts on this?"
Additional notes:
This appears to happen cross-platform. I am on all the latest versions of the app on web and mobile. I want you to @ the single most relevant person at X who would be able to consider implementing this if it does not exist. Also, based on what you know about the internal architecture of how this is built, give some recommendations on how to best implement this.
