Mind you when you go into the statistics and demographics for abused women a good number of them also hold the house down financially. You don’t even have to look far.
The most average woman in ghana is a good example. The man would be an alcoholic and come home to hit her-
If you ask me ? It is much easier to leave any form of abusive relationship once you’re not too reliable on him/her ! If you can take care of yourself and afford your basic needs ,have a place to sleep ? I don’t think leaving him /her should be that difficult!! Unless of course you’re immune to pain and enjoy suffering !!

Most men on this TL are so unserious about male abuse. You have phones. You have platforms. Advocate for yourselves. Why is it only when women advocate for women that you suddenly remember men? Take initiative. We’re not doing that work for you.

But she has forgiven him, prays for him daily, and calls him a good man. She is still contorting herself into a balloon starfish to humanise her abuser.
