Solandra got its first client within just 3 days of launch.
And working with real client websites immediately exposed problems I wouldn't have found by just building alone.
For the last few weeks, I've been fully focused on Solandra.io:
- talking with clients
- understanding their requirements
- getting feedback
- shipping based on real problems
A few things I've added recently:
- Actions for the AI support agent
- PDF support
- Better website crawling
One of my favorite updates is the crawler.
Solandra already supports JS-rendered websites using @getcontextdev.
But I found a problem.
A lot of important website content is hidden inside:
- Tabs
- Accordions
- Interactive sections
The content only appears after a click, so a normal crawl can miss it.
After fighting with Python for a while, I built support to detect and interact with these elements before extracting the content.
Tested it across multiple websites.
Now it's running in production.
And I'm already working with the second client.
Next:
- Faster + better widget
- Team access and permissions
- New dashboard
- Large PDF handling
- Support for websites with 1,000+ pages
Building from real customer problems is completely different from building from assumptions.

Recently I had a client meeting for solandra.io and only 30 mins to finish a feature + changes
then I made a task list and asked @claudeai how long it'd take, it said 4 hours min
and it completed in 10 minutes
All done with zero issues

I daily touches a lot of websites
Almost all looks identical
I don't know why, they don't even trying to keep the
- good color combo
- good font combination for body + heading
- good primary color
- a good structure, how it should look like
then they blame on AI
Here the my last two design that completely built by AI - but not in one prompt, you need to think with AI, don't put all the burden of thinking on AI

Some of my best decisions I've made:
learning CPP in 2020, completely on my own, from a book and done 1500+ exercise with this - it helped me to learn a lot.
learning RAG, AI agents, and context systems early instead of just using AI at the surface level.
building as many project as I can with or without AI, like pixearn, stl, regify, creatorjot
starting to use coding agents early and changing the way I build software.

How it decides:
Each button has a note from the owner
"pricing, demos, anything sales-related".
The model sees the label + note, never the link itself, unless the owner opts in.
So "what does it cost?" ends with Book a meeting.
"How do I install it?" ends with nothing. No button spam.

Built another milestone for my GTA-VI inspired @Unlayer hackathon project
The Operation Dossier flow is now working:
- select your location in map
- edit inside the image editor
- add text, stickers, icon, and style
too close to completion
but the core pipeline is done almost

One thing I'm building differently in Solandra.io:
I don't want a RAG system to just say:
"I don't have enough information."
and forget about it.
Because that failed question is actually useful data.
If a customer asks something and retrieval finds no relevant context:
question
↓
no good context found
↓
don't hallucinate an answer
↓
escalate to human
↓
save it as a knowledge gap
Now imagine 20 customers asking different versions of the same thing.
That's not 20 failed chats.
That's a signal:
"Your documentation is missing this."
So Solandra groups these unanswered questions and shows them back to the company.
The interesting part of RAG for me is becoming less about:
"how can I answer every question?"
and more about:
"what can I learn from the questions I couldn't answer?"

Built a live eval dashboard to actually measure our RAG pipeline instead of guessing.
Real scraped docs, 1,100+ generated questions, LLM-as-judge scoring and it already caught few real bugs in production logic before it caused problems.
This is what 'trust the retrieval' should mean.
