I don't care how many times I say it. I loved this as a kid. The full opening. I always loved when they'd bring it out of retirement too in the later 80's.
If you grew up in my era, you didn’t skip the HBO movie opener. You watched that little neighborhood come alive, blasted into space, and somehow knew whatever came next was going to be GOOD.
That music still hits.

After a 1-up I win... but.. I hit him with 144hp damage blast and followed up 3 more hits of.. what my SCREEN said was 50 plus hp damage... meaning over 250hp, so this was deserved youtu.be/07kBbU09nEY
