Curious what makes it more manageable now: a team that can decide without you, clearer priorities, or being more comfortable letting some things wait? Feels like a useful question for founders even before kids enter the picture.

Less things require me non stop - I’m still important but stuff gets done even when I’m not around

Wasn’t easy, but it’s possible. You will settle into a rhythm and that is a pretty great feeling. Congratulations on the little one!

went through YC with a 1-month old. The struggle was real but it is possible. Couldn’t have done it without a lot of help though!

Hang in there, definitely improves 🤗 I kept telling myself: if my parents could get through this without losing their minds, so can I 😅

I still sometimes cringe at the side project advice I used to dole out to others as a twenty y/o kidless builder

It’s really something. Even with a 10 month old it’s a lot

this hits hard. I had my firstborn right when I was starting my startup... oh boy, I still don't know how I survived. congrats on the little one

I’m on month 6. The trick is to add a caffeinated beverage for every 3 hours you didn’t sleep. It’s a 2 soda day - every day!

a few months ago, after just over nine straight years of diaper duty, i changed my last one. at least until i'm a grandparent. at some point you just get used to being tired lol
