Calls for the mass murder of civilians are classified under international law and national legislation as among the gravest international crimes and criminal offenses and may fall under several key categories: • direct and public incitement to genocide; • instigation of war crimes and crimes against humanity; • war propaganda and incitement to hatred.

Mate works for a website that routinely launders Kremlin lies about Ukraine and much else, and he was personally hosted by Russia at the UN to promote those lies. A monument to Soviet Marshal Ivan Konev was unveiled in Slovakia The initiative came from Prime Minister Robert Fico. Several years ago, a monument to Konev was dismantled in Prague. In 1956, the marshal commanded Soviet troops that suppressed the uprising in Hungary. In 1968, he no longer held command positions, but Czech historians claim that Konev participated in the decision to send Soviet troops into Czechoslovakia.
