Some news: I've left @SeliniCapital to build @sizedotclub full time.
Selini is a world class firm. I've never worked with a more talented team, and I'm confident they'll keep dominating for years to come. I learned more about markets there than anywhere else in my career. More than a few people have told me I'm crazy to step off a rocket ship and start from zero. Here's why I did it anyway.
When you trade institutionally, you're surrounded by infrastructure, risk systems, capital, and people who tell you what you're doing wrong every single day. When you trade your own account, you get none of that. You're alone with your PnL.
And if you're a young trader today, the odds are stacked against you. There has never been a generation with more talent and hunger, and fewer safe ways to grow their wealth. You either risk your savings while you learn to become profitable, or you never find out how good you could have been. Usually it's both: you blow the savings and leave jaded.
The prop trading industry exists to fix exactly this. It should be the best thing that ever happened to young traders. It isn't. A challenge hands you a pass or a fail and nothing else: no feedback, no tooling, no one showing you what you're actually doing wrong. The rules are built around the firm's economics, not your development.
After hundreds of conversations with young traders, what they actually want is a trusted environment to improve in. That's what we're building with Size.

$ENA just got added to a lot of watchlists
We are excited to announce four updates regarding the Ethena ecosystem, further details on each point are provided in the blog linked below:
1. Buyout of early investors:
The Ethena Foundation executed a buyout of all locked tokens from certain major seed investors that sold any ENA within the last 9 months.
2. Alignment of Token & Equity:
The Ethena Foundation and Ethena Labs have reached agreement on a Master Framework Agreement, whereby IP and ownership of value accrued by the protocol is assigned to the Foundation exclusively and governed by token holders with no residual cash flow due to equity investors in the Labs entity.
3. Revenue Buybacks:
Governance proposal now live for the implementation of the fee switch whereby net revenue accrued across all business lines under the Ethena brand will be used to programmatically buy back the ENA token.
The vote for revenue buyback fee switch implementation is now here, and has already been approved by the Risk Committee:

4. Removal of monthly VC unlocks:
The Ethena Foundation and lead investors have agreed to eliminate future overhang associated with monthly VC investor unlocks by releasing unvested tokens. All team tokens remain locked per the original vesting schedules.

Cautiously optimistic about the market being back BUT I don't think we've had time based capitulation yet.
Max pain would be everyone aping this move and a slow grind lower going into midterms.

Size Insights #1 - Why am I building this?
Everyone I know is becoming a trader in one way or another. A lot of them get started in -EV games such as trenching. That is a dangerous default.
If you want to play in markets you need safe access to capital, you need to learn, and you need other people. No one has managed to successfully unite all three under one roof.
By striving for this with Size, I believe we can protect a lot of people from wrecking themselves, and from the scammers who sit on this path.
