I miss times when I thought having a startup means just coding all day

$26/month 40 days grinding. 40 organic posts. 1 iOS app. 4 paying customers. Everyone says "if you're not at 10k MRR by now, you failed." So... Should I move on, or keep grinding?

"My ios app made $10k in first 4 hours." I lost count of how many posts like that I've read on x. I am here to tell you that this is not average and that if you don't reach that is totally fine. I have posted 42 videos in past 40 days and managed to get 4 customers. It could be the product. It could be the niche. It could be me. I am not here to tell you a secret sauce, but that you are not the only one struggling 💪🏻 We are all in the grind and we will get there 🙌🏻. Eventually.

I had to post 42 videos on TikTok to break 2k views. As a developer, stepping in front of the camera was (and still is) awkward as hell. But if this gives me even a small chance of finding a winning format and reaching $10k+ MRR, it's worth it. 42 videos down. Let's keep going

It's funny how one good free trial makes all those cringey TikToks suddenly feel worth it.

Grind never stops

It didn't feel real until now. We decided to shutdown our first business I build together with my wife. It was long overdue. Even though we closed the business 6months ago. To me it was real when I stopped the services that ran the app for 2 years. 🥹 On to the better things

The hard part is done. Got my first paying customers on my ios app. 🥳🍾 Only a month or two and I will be at $100k MRR... Right? 🤡
