It's not just stupid, it's dangerous. If you're making British Jews or European Jews or American Jews synonymous with the army of a foreign state carrying out some of the most evil breaches of IHL this century, then you're asking people to pick a side between Jewish people here as representatives of a group committing genocide and opposing genocide. I get that this is strategically what some parties want to do in order to silence criticism of the criminal state but this will harm the Jewish communities here. It's utterly grotesque.

The government of @ReuvenAzar has killed more than 200 journalists in Gaza. It has been killing upwards of 50-60 civilians in Gaza every day. It is starving babies and young kids. Yet he has the nerve to make such mendacious claims – that too from a platform of a media organisation – against @AJEnglish which is the only channel that is providing the world real time reporting on the Israeli genocide against the Palestinians. Shame on him for justifying the targeted killing of journalists and laying the ground for further murder.
Israeli ambassador to India @ReuvenAzar says @AJEnglish journalists in Palestine were members of Hamas’ military wing. “They are not journalists but terrorists”, he said referring to those journalists in Palestine.
He also says Qatar is “playing” everyone

With all due respect for Mr Datar’s qualifications, track record and eminence, these things should not matter.
A lawyer giving a legal opinion to a client is pretty much at the core of what the profession does, yes?
Arvind Datar is the country’s most respected Tax Lawyer and he, like Nani on whom he wrote that wonderful book, is also a constitutional law jurist! Has the ED completely lost it that it has issued summons to him for an opinion he had given to an entity facing investigation? If senior counsels start getting ED notices for legal opinions can you imagine where we have arrived as a nation? The SC should take suo moto notice of this lunacy!
