How do you build a government for a society where no two people think alike?🏛️🇮🇱
Israel’s answer didn’t start in 1948 - it grew out of pre-state traditions and an ancient Jewish model of self-governance.
Why 120 seats? Why proportional representation? Why coalitions? 📜
He made a fortune and retired at 40.
He spent 60 years showing up in person wherever Jews were crushed:
Damascus, Rome, Russia, Morocco.
In 1855 he bought land outside Jerusalem's walls. Modern Jerusalem starts there.

Otef Aza, three years on 🇮🇱
This week, NBN and @zionisted by Ariella Bat-Tzion Fogelman took two groups of seniors and young professionals to the Otef Aza to pay tribute to the victims, hear survivor testimony, and honor the heroes of October 7.
Stops: Givat Kobi lookout in Sderot, a film screening at the Sderot Police Station, hearing from Ron Segev - a Nova Festival survivor's story at the site in Re'im, and the Burnt Vehicles Compound in Tekuma.
We remember the 1,200 murdered and 251 taken hostage, and the soldiers who fell defending Israel. We honor everyone still carrying the wounds of that day.
