The story of $SIVE is INSANE. If you participated or not, it’s worth knowing about these 2 accounts. Before it soared up 400%, @MoodyWriter13 researched the company and told @aleabitoreddit about it in the comments. Then both of them bought at a $140M market cap and told us all about it. This is part 2/2. The complete video. pls enjoy

Reminds me of the Casey Neistat days
🚨 MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: YouTube will start prioritizing original content and reducing re-uploads (RIP clipping) YouTube has just announced one of the most impactful changes to its short-form algorithm. Its recommendation systems (the algorithm) will start to further prioritize original content and reduce the reach of content re-uploaded from other creators without adding anything of your own. They highlight this shift toward originality, where channels with primarily re-uploaded content will see less distribution within the Shorts feed. It also seems like they’re really trying to put the focus on content with real value, while highlighting that YouTube doesn’t want as many “minor technical edits” or “template-based” changes. Which is basically all that clipping was in this industry. Overall, while this will piss off some people whose entire careers were built on the premise of other people’s content (mostly clippers), the change itself is amazing and will finally address the overall quality issue we’ve been seeing.

10k -> $5.4M Everyone sees the screenshots forgetting it took nine years. @babyfolio’s story started at a gas station shift and $10k, a course that cost half the portfolio, and market sellofs that blew him up This is a film about a winner who went all in.
Portfolio update: $5.4M Officially 50% of my original $10M goal. I set that goal back in 2017, not long after I started investing, and seeing it now within reach feels surreal. A thing I have to talk about is option selling, mainly CCs, while they generated nice returns during a draw down, they have capped my upside massively during the recent run, I believe that without them I could be at around 6.5M today. The lesson learned is to utilize them on lower portions of my positions. I’m not stopping here though. The goals will keep getting bigger, and I’ll keep sharing my journey, research, and ideas publicly for free like I always have. That said, I’m also launching a subscription service for those who want beyond what I already do: • Live buys & sells • Ideas shared earlier • Direct access to DM and discuss anything. Some of my friends here got backlash over launching a subscription service, be gentle with me, it's definitely optional, non-subs get the same as always. 🫡 I genuinely appreciate everyone who’s followed along, engaged with the posts, challenged my ideas, and made this journey a lot more enjoyable. Hopefully we continue winning together for many more years.

just had an hour long call with Captain Harris. he manages a strict stock portfolio while captaining an oil tanker across the Atlantic. you can make the coolest friends on FinX. one day I’m sailing from the UK to South America with him.
Portfolio update mid -September. It will be a biweekly update as I change a few things here and there. So without returns and percentages, here is the portfolio mid of the month. I started the month by selling $AMD . Amazing company, but I believe waiting for the release of the new chip is pointless, the money could be allocated elsewhere. So with that money, I increased my position to $AMZN making it the fourth power in my portfolio and also to $AVGO. In the first half of September, I traded a lot of stocks, $APP, $CRDO, $TWLO, $SEZL, $DASH, $GEV. I'm not saying that they aren't good companies, but for various reasons I opened and closed these positions, some in profit, some in minor loss. Now I have created my portfolio around data centers in such weird way! Let me explain: We need $STRL to prepare the land to build the datacenter on top. We need $VRT, $BE to provide cooling and electricity to that datacenter. The chips that will be inside the racks must be created by someone $AVGO & $TSM. At the end of the day a label must be hung outside of the center -> $NBIS. After the general AI infrastructure/datacenter play, I have $SOFI (the best Fintech company in my view - no one loves it nowadays), $AMZN the stalwart, and $ASTS because mobile signal through satellite coverage is something that I want as a seaman. Lastly, I hold $KTOS as I believe the drone/defense sector will get some attention, especially during the midterm elections. I finished with $SKHY as I believe a memory stock couldn't be missed from anyone's portfolio nowadays. Some thoughts as a closure. I loved the fact that I have exposure to Broadcom and TSMC. Both companies are unbelievable, and I'm lucky that I built a position at discounted prices. A big dilemma for me remains Kratos. I will keep it for now, despite needing that cash. I still believe that it has potentials as the sector faces difficulties at the moment. I don't expect any cash injection in the near future. Whatever happens will be through the reallocation of assets from one stock to another. So, please leave an emoji if you reach that point, to see who is reading my thoughts. Share the post with a friend of yours who you believe will find it interesting. Thanks!

For those who do investing full time: - how long did you need to swap your 9-5 with investing biz? - what made a difference for you? what advice you'd give to the rest of us who are pursuing this goal? - is this even possible for 99% of us? Having a full time job, family, errands, life outside - it all takes time. Is it even possible to make your hobby your primary occupation? Not talking just about buying and selling, it can be any type of work - people who do podcasts, write article, do research, create youtube videos, or anything else. If you have any experiece trying to achieve this goal, regardless if you achieved it, or currently working on it, or switched to pursue other goals, please share your story. I hope this brings value not only to me, but to anyone else working towards the same goal.

Three random themes & analysis: 1. Offshore drilling 2. Salmon 3. Airlines These aren't multi-year stories like AI, humanoids or space. But are instead catalyst driven, short term trades. High level notes: 1. Offshore drilling Offshore drilling equities trade like distressed cyclicals even as they strengthen contracts. $RIG for example trades at P/B of ~0.93 & P/S ~1.8x. So sentiment is extremely bearish even while they've been adding backlog. Generalists have abandoned oilfield services since the industry is relatively small + scarred by the 2020-21 bankruptcy wave. In terms of potential catalysts: - Transocean-Valaris merger (Feb 2026) needs shareholder/regulatory approval which would be a potential re-rating event. - Management guides utilisation above 90% by late 2026, approaching 100% in 2027. - $RIG added ~$1.6B backlog since April + recent fixtures span ~$550k/day. Oil is obviously the key risk factor though where an oil price collapse (e.g. WTI below ~$60) triggers capex cuts + contract deferrals. That margin compression would offset any backlog gains made. No positions here yet for me, but I do have positions further down in the Airlines section. $RIG does look kinda compelling at these levels tho w/ their backlog growth. But do I wanna hedge the AI trade more? Not sure just yet... 2. Salmon This one's fun. 2025 was a record supply year for salmon w/ industry supply up 18%. Which ultimately crushed spot prices. Aggressive harvesting in Q2/Q3 2025 depleted biomass, setting up a sharp H1 2026 slowdown. Looks like a pretty nice setup though: - niche Oslo listed cluster of companies - undercovered by US investors - punished through 2025 on oversupply - strong NOK - Norway's resource-rent tax Catalysts: - Norway's salmon production fell 3% in Q1 and will fall another 2% in Q2 - which leaves global supply growth of just 0-2% in H1 2026 Prices already seem to be turning too where the benchmark salmon price was ~74 NOK/kg on June 19. Which is up ~13% over the prior month. But ofc if biology recovers fast, then that'll be the key risk. Names if you're curious: Mowi, SalMar, Bakkafrost I probably won't take positions here, but it's been a fun area to research recently as a break from AI/semis lol. 3. Airlines Boeing + Airbus delivery delays are artificially capping industry capacity which protects airfares even as consumer sentiment softens. So the airlines have a cap on capacity growth which has handed them decent pricing power e.g. fares are running ~25% higher yoy + staying sticky even as fuel falls. So investment-grade balance sheets + collapsing fuel costs into H2 should drive margin expansion. $DAL, $UAL, and $ALK are the core names where you'd wanna opt on the loyalty/premium oligopoly rather than seat sales. Even w/ Spirit gone, that's why you'd want to avoid ULCCs. If I was to summarise each name: - Delta is the quality leaner but looks a lot more priced in at these levels. - United is probably better risk/reward than Delta rn. - Alaska is highest risk but highest reward. Southwest ( $LUV ) is another name but not looked too much into them in the theme. Ultimately all are turnaround plays but similar to offshore drilling, oil's the key risk which obvs acts as headwinds to margins. V. macro driven w/ Hormuz etc opening. And if Spirit routes get backfilled from July (?) then fare premiums could erode quickly. But $DAL earnings are July 9 and $UAL mid-July so could see a re-rate if sticky fares + falling fuel costs = good guidance. Just as a disclosure, I did take positions in $DAL as a hedge when Iran/US deal was signed - think I commented it a few times on my posts. --- Just for a list of fun themes I'm looking at outside of AI rn. Missing a lot of notes here tbh and it's just a spew of thoughts/info, but just don't wanna bore you guys with all the nuts and bolts lol. NFA ofc, these are just short-term investment areas if you're wondering about ideas.
