I’d like to hear from people about this short yardage dilemma. Are we against LJ sneaks? I don’t get why it’s forbidden

Yes but what we should do is what we did last year with andrews and the year before that tush push with 89

What happened to the Andrews sneak if we’re doing that? One things for sure, I don’t trust the short yardage “just run Henry three times… it’s Henry!” Clearly we’re better with Lamar having it in his hands in those situations. They’re into the backfield before we can false start

I swear we ran it in Indy week 1 right ? It seems the wildcat has replaced it

Honestly I am not but we should throw it once a game. Hes more likely to get hurt than Josh. That’s why the chiefs don’t do it with Pat after that one time he was hurt lol.

I remember that what a fluke play.

It does not have to be Lamar but these long handoffs to Henry when you need a yard or less are terrible calls by the OC. CB stopped that play 3 times or more to stop a TD and a first down

He isn’t good at it, I remember they tried to give him play in short yardage in the goal-line in years past it didn’t go well. Thats why gus they wouldn’t always give the ball to gus down there. Also short yardage dilemma is more of the OL arent a physical group, more so finesse

Doyle spent yesterday forcing Henry on short yardage situations because of the 3rd and 1 questions from last week. They need to remember that as great as Henry is, Lamar is still the best player on offense and poses more of a threat than any player in league history

Idk why we not just giving it to Andrew’s lmao, did that last season and it worked. Illogical how we keep trying to actually hand it off when it’s 4th and inches lmao. Gives the defence way more time to make a stop

Im completely against Lamar having to be the one that does it. Too much crap happens in the pile we literally just lost a center due to a helmet to the knee area in a pile. Not worth the chance he may get injured, however small it ism

Is the Andrews tush push gone? Seemed like it worked.

i personally don't want to see lamar do the tush push, at some point one of these qbs is gonna get hurt and its probably be a neck injury

Not against sneaks or read option keepers. We can also call pays for Bateman on 3rd downs to mix it up. He has earned imo

Because hes 30 years old and he hurt his hamstring last year trying to make up an incompetent team’s mistakes. should not be the one to bail out the team every game.
