🚨 Christa Pike is still alive after lethal injection being overseen by Dr. Mark Fowler.
Tennessee used Dr. Fowler in May for Tony Carruthers execution.
Fowler and the team botched it. The execution was called off.
Carruthers got a 1 year reprieve.

Question of the night, how did Christa Pike survive two doses of lethal injection?
Two possibilities. One is negligence and the other is something I would have to put on my tinfoil hat to say.
Here’s the reality: Five grams of pentobarbital stops breathing in a minute or two. When someone is still snoring 40 minutes later, the drug didn't get in. So either the IV slipped or the vein blew and it pooled in the arm, the line flowed too slowly, or the compounded drug was weak.
Tennessee has now had two failed executions in one year. In the last attempted execution they couldn't get an IV into Tony Carruthers either.

Same story with cars.
I bought this @GE_Appliances fridge in March 2020. Six and a half years later, it’s dead. The repair quote is $2,350, which means it's time to buy a new fridge.
Meanwhile, the white fridge in my garage that looks like it's from WWII is still running strong.
For the price of one brand-new GE fridge, I could buy 30 used white fridges on Facebook Marketplace that will all still be alive after I'm gone.
What happened to us as a nation?
