It was one of my first personal frontend Web3 projects, while I was learning Uniswap V2 back in 2024. Swap, list the pool, add and remove liquidity from the page. All the logic: how to get the quote, how to handle WETH and ETH as different functions on the router, how USDT doesn’t always return a boolean from transfer I learned that from the error. When I deployed the Uniswap V2 router and factory locally, I also had to fix the init code hash so the factory and router calculated the same pair address. Then I could create the pool and actually use the pair. That’s where I started understanding what was actually happening underneath the UI, instead of just wiring up the frontend way before vibe coding was a thing It was so exciting then. Now it is totally different. Every MVP can be 1–2 days.
