MoG could hit a $1M weekly prize pool sooner than you think Actual ingame rewards with $VALOR ~ USDC. But the GOAT part isn't how big the pool is. It's how players make money and who actually profits. Are we really sacrificing too much to grind WL ? Here's the real ROI POV behind MoG🧡

This WL is turning into a pure holder war At first, holding 50K $MUSEGOD could still show you around Top 400. But the latest update makes the rule much clearer: 244 WL spots β†’ Top 244 biggest holders. Right now, the cutoff is already around 210K tokens (~$85), and that number can still move a lot before the snapshot. Snapshot: Wednesday, 12:00 UTC So this is not really a β€œhold X amount and you’re safe” situation. It’s a ranking game. If more people accumulate near the deadline, the minimum needed for Top 244 will probably keep climbing. Personally, I’d watch the holder leaderboard closely instead of blindly buying a fixed amount. The interesting part is that anyone who entered early is still slightly up, so there’s at least some flexibility if the competition gets too expensive. Now the real question is: How high will the Top 244 cutoff go before Wednesday?

Slippy's NFT art is created in collaboration with Antoine Mingo, the original Pudgy Penguins artist. But the bigger opportunity is commercial IP rights. NFT holders could create merch, content, and other products around their characters. If @Slippyclub gains recognition beyond crypto, owning a character could become more interesting than simply holding a PFP.

ALPHA Most meme coins give you a mascot to trade @Slippyclub is trying to build an entire character economy around one snake with 12 personalities and zero arms. Think memes, NFTs, gaming, merch, and commercial IP rights. The interesting part isn't just robinhood:0xf0568863195770965a6d8abb0aa87f4314b80320. It's how far this ridiculous snake could go beyond crypto.

6/7 The Yield Fields Effect MoG recently kicked off Deed Season with @YieldFields_RH, offering 850 WL spots. But forget about the WL for a sec. Look at what happened to the game. Before Sep 17, daily Key usage was pretty quiet. On September 18, total Key usage surged to roughly 230,000 in a single day, with activity remaining elevated on September 19. Across the 14 days period shown on the dashboard, MoG recorded: - 400,488 Normal Keys used - 170,400 Expedition Keys used - 36,664 Eve Keys used Instead of simply giving away WL spots through social quests, MoG turned the competition into another reason for players to actually play the game. You're genius @Skarly

7/7 Can MoG Keep Its Economy Alive ? The good thing is, MoG isn't relying entirely on Yield Fields to keep its economy running. It already has paid Arcade gameplay, weekly rewards, Bounties, the Throne, and additional systems connecting it with the wider Onchain Heroes ecosystem. Through World's Eve, players can use Eve Keys to farm Worldseeds, redeem Eve Caches, and collect items intended to carry over into OCH World when it launches. MoG has already shown how much activity an external NFT event can bring into its economy. Now I want to see how much of that activity stays when the WL hype is gone. But I think the real test comes after Deed Season ends on September 28.

3/7 Where does the money come from? I was digging through MoG weekly recaps and noticed something interesting. Aug 20: 56,047 Keys burnt β†’ $39,233 prize pool Sep 3: 80,735 Keys burnt β†’ $56,515 prize pool Sep 17: 26,161 Keys burnt β†’ $18,313 prize pool Across all 3 weeks, the prize pool works out to almost exactly $0.70 per Key burnt. With Arcade Keys costing $1 each, that's a pretty interesting ratio. Players spend money to enter the maze, and a big chunk of that spending goes back into the prize pool they're competing for. More Keys burnt = more money flowing into the pool, assuming that same ratio holds. And that's what makes MoG economy interesting to me.

5/7 A $400 Run That Made $992 Profit Here's a real example I found interesting. @KumiLover_ publicly shared the results of a gaming session: - $400 spent on Keys. - $321 earned from Treasure. - $100 earned from Bounty. - $971 earned from Throne. Total rewards: $1,392. That's $992 in profit, or approximately +248% ROI before withdrawal fees. The result was shared by the player and subsequently highlighted by Onchain Heroes. Without the $971 Throne reward, the player would have recovered only $421 from the $400 spent. That's just $21 in profit. MoG has multiple opportunities for players to earn money, but a big winning session doesn't represent what the average player should expect.

4/7 The Real ROI Calculation Here's the part most people overlook. A $70,000 prize pool doesn't mean everyone who spends $100 will receive $70 back. Your weekly payout depends on how much Treasure you collect compared with other players, while Bounty and Throne add another layer of uncertainty. Let's use a hypothetical example. You spend $100 on Arcade Keys. After completing your runs, you receive $60 from your share of the weekly Treasure pool and another $10 from Bounty rewards. Your total return is $70. -> That's a $30 loss, or -30% ROI Now imagine you manage to collect more Treasure and finish the week with $120 in total rewards. -> Your ROI becomes +20%. Same $100 investment, very different results. Skill issue The key is to measure your actual total rewards against everything you spent, rather than looking only at the size of the prize pool. And for players who manage to hit a big jackpot, the numbers can look very different.

2/7 MoG has 3 main reward pools: 1/ Weekly Prize Pool: earn a share based on your Treasure. 2/ Bounty: defeat the final boss for a chance at extra rewards. 3/ Throne: a progressive jackpot. The winner takes 80% of the pool. My latest screenshot shows $636,981 weekly, $2,100 Max Bounty and $404 Throne.

1/7 First, what exactly is MoG ? Maze of Gains is a roguelike dungeon crawler on Abstract. To enter Arcade mode, you need Keys. Each Key costs $1, and you can use multiple Keys in a single run to multiply your Treasure yield and increase your chances of obtaining additional rewards. And this is where MoG becomes interesting. Unlike simply holding an NFT and waiting for its price to increase, you're actively making decisions that how much you can earn from each run ( skill issue ) If you play bad you cook =))) imagine 100X Key and you fail at 8/10 floor or you don't loot all the treasure in map just like me 2 days before =((

ZKSNARKS Blind Auction - Quick Breakdown πŸ‘€ Not sure if another staff member already covered this, but here are my thoughts on the drop. Since there's no way to track how many people have deposited, it's hard to measure real demand. From the people I've been around, it looks like most are depositing for this drop. The median amount people seem comfortable bidding is around 1 $ZEC per NFT. Not saying you have to bid that much, but people putting in that amount seem fine with either outcome: β†’ Getting the NFT at a cheaper price and receiving a refund β†’ Ending up with a missing NFT if the final price is 1 ZEC per NFT ⏰ The auction closes in around 4 hours A lot of KOLs have been comparing NFTs on Zec to early Ordinals. I can see why, especially with how slow the chain is πŸ˜‚ The team also seems to be teasing their own marketplace called "Zilkroad." Looking at Exsaverse Data, people are trying to buy WL for around 1,300, while listings are around 1,500. That puts the implied price near 1 ZEC per NFT, but there haven't been any actual sales yet. Personally, i'm considering bidding on 3-4 NFTs. still feels too early to know how strong the actual demand is. One thing worth understanding: the blind auction refunds the difference for bidders above the final clearing price. So if someone bids 5 ETH per NFT but the final price ends up at 0.5 ZEC, they won't necessarily be paying the full amount they deposited. ⚠️ Only use links from the official Twitter account when bidding for your NFTs.
