BREAKING: This week, I stepped into the role of Head of Communications at @AvaLabs, and I couldn't think of a more exciting time to join this team. Businesses, financial institutions, and global enterprises are increasingly using @avax to solve real problems, and this past week has been a great example of that. Today, @aave launched V4 on Avalanche, marking the first deployment of its next-generation lending protocol beyond Ethereum and laying the foundation for new onchain credit markets, including lending against tokenized assets. At the same time: • BridgeTower announced plans to tokenize $11B+ in real-world assets on Avalanche, helping make Avalanche the #1 blockchain by net RWA inflows. • FIFA chose Avalanche to build its own blockchain network, bringing digital collectibles and future fan experiences onto infrastructure designed to serve billions of football fans worldwide. • Japan's largest security token platform, Progmat, migrated ¥452B of tokenized assets from a private Corda network onto a public Avalanche Layer 1. • NEC partnered with Ava Labs to develop blockchain services secured through biometric identity. • Hyundai Card and Hyundai Motor Company completed stablecoin payment pilots on Avalanche with Tether and Axiym, including a real cross-border intercompany settlement in just seven minutes. To me, these announcements represent something much bigger than individual partnerships. They show that some of the world’s leading businesses are choosing Avalanche as their trusted infrastructure for financial markets, enterprise applications, and global payments. I have to put some bets down on chains that are gonna get adopted. I now know with certainty that ETH will not be the, in my view, the standard across all 11 sectors, primarily because a lot of people think it's too slow. They’re looking for much faster transactional speeds with variance of volumes. You can see that working on Solana and Avalanche. Avalanche has this multi-chain advantage which may be of interest to industry. There's a lot of interesting things going on so now all of us are gonna be forced to take on positions because we simply don't know. Investors make changes all the time. We're always rebalancing when the facts change.

avalanche summit is a wrap, and something shifted this year. we grew up. over 1,500 people came across both days. the caliber of people in that room was the highest we’ve ever brought together. the conversations, the people on stage, the deals starting over coffee. but what i keep hearing isn’t about any single panel or speaker. it’s that avalanche showed up differently. for years we’ve said we’re the blockchain for institutions and enterprises. this was the first time it felt like every part of the experience matched that ambition. the room, the programming, the production, the people. we looked and operated like the company we’ve been saying we are. and the reach matched the moment. more than 5 million impressions across two days. kevin o’leary everywhere. avalanche everywhere. none of that happened by accident. it happened because this team executed at a level i rarely see. Avalanche Summit was everything and more. The programming, caliber and number of attendees, media turnout, and partner presence were all exceptional.
