The ENS Audit Competition with @immunefi is well underway. As of August 31, researchers have submitted 306 reports, with 20 confirmed valid so far and 56 still under review. The competition runs through September 14.

This is what scaling ENS looks like. The internet didn’t scale email by requiring everyone to own a domain and run a mail server. Most people got an identity under a provider’s namespace: gmail.com, icloud.com, etc. ENS is scaling the same way. Direct .eth names remain a core part of the ecosystem, while wallets, apps, communities and protocols can issue millions of subnames to their users. And because ENS can import DNS names, that model extends beyond .eth to namespaces like world.id. 18 million names from World is a glimpse of what that model looks like at scale.
