In a very positive development, the Court has requested a response from New Jersey in Defense Distributed v. Davenport, SAF’s challenge to New Jersey’s 3D Gun File Ban.
A request for response is a strong indication that a particular case has the attention of the Court and they want fully fleshed out briefing on the matter. Stay tuned for further developments.

Second Amendment Foundation has written Attorney General Todd Blanche regarding the Statement of Interest the Feds filed on August 31 in Rare Breed Triggers Patent Litigation.
The letter asks the Department to clarify why they're asserting a public-interest in limiting FRT sales in private patent proceedings, given Garland v. Cargill and district court decisions have held that forced-reset triggers are not machine guns.

When school officials learned that SAF member Jack Harrington exercised his Second Amendment rights in his private life, they searched his private property.
But simply being a gun owner cannot and does not provide law enforcement - or school officials - reasonable suspicion of a crime.
SAF has now secured a monumental settlement and stipulated declaratory judgment, with school officials now admitting that the search of Jack’s property violated his Fourth Amendment rights!

We filed an amicus brief in Beckwith v. Frey today, urging the Supreme Court and reverse the First Circuit's ruling, which absurdly held that waiting period laws do not even implicate the plain text of the Second Amendment.
NRA joined us in filing this brief.
