In June, I started my transition from the Canton Foundation and over the past few weeks, I've had the opportunity to reflect as I officially conclude my time leading the Foundation.
Working at the Foundation has been the most rewarding and transformative experience of my career. It brought together everything I've learned across traditional finance, digital assets, and global ecosystem building - from Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan to OKX and the broader blockchain industry.
It was a privilege to work alongside an exceptional team, our Governing Board, Foundation members, and partners around the world during a defining chapter for the Canton ecosystem and as the conversion between traditional finance and crypto continues to expand.
Some milestones I'm especially proud of:
• Helping lead the Foundation's evolution from the Global Synchronizer Foundation to the Canton Foundation.
• Supporting the successful launch and global market development of Canton Coin across leading trading venues - Robinhood, OKX, Upbit, Bybit, Kraken, Revolut & more.
• Expanding the network of validators, custodians, wallets, and liquidity providers.
• Growing engagement and product/asset development across financial institutions, crypto native developers, and infrastructure partners worldwide.
• Increasing Canton's visibility across institutional finance and crypto through industry events, social engagements and community initiatives.
• Growing Foundation membership to more than 85 organizations while stewarding open governance and network neutrality.
Beyond the milestones, what I'll value most are the relationships built with an incredible community of innovators working to shape the future of institutional blockchain and capital markets.
To everyone who supported, challenged, and believed in me throughout this journey, thank you. It has been an honor.
I'm excited for what's next and look forward to continuing to build at the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets.
