Hakeem Jeffries says if Democrats win, Trump's deportations won't continue. They'd undo much of the enforcement. Southwest border apprehensions are down 95%. ZERO releases. And they want to throw that away. 17 days. Vote accordingly.

Talarico opposed Constitutional carry, opposes protecting our schools and churches, wants to ban basic semi-auto, backs the creation of a national registry so the gov’t can track you, backs removing due process with red flag, he is a confirmed rubber stamp for the anti-g*n lobby.

If you think Democrats care about lowering the price of gas, just remember that on Day One of the Biden admin, two of the first things they did were cancel the Keystone XL pipeline and halt all new oil and gas leases.

I've known @jamestalarico for nearly 20 years. When we were at @UTAustin in 2009, he ran the University Democrats and I ran the College Republicans. Although we disagreed, I once considered him a friend. But then he betrayed the entire student body for his own political gain.🧵

Funny how a Democrat president can allow millions of people to enter our country illegally, then fly them to cities all across the country, register them to vote, give them a drivers license, Social Security, Medicare, SNAP, free housing and education all at American taxpayers expense, and nobody on the judiciary bats an eye. But the minute a Republican president tries to remove the people who came here illegally, remove them from voter rolls, Social Security, Medicare, SNAP, public housing, public education and revoke their drivers license, a Democrat appointed judge automatically steps in to delay and block it. This double standard, like the current federal judiciary, is a damn joke. If you’re sick tired of this double standard and of Democrat activists cosplaying as federal judges, stop voting for damn Democrats! Vote Red! Vote Republican! 🚫🫏

My post about France went viral. Thousands of likes. Many Americans told me: "Democrats aren't socialists. America will never be France." I want to answer that seriously, step by step. Start with a simple observation. Look at what has gotten cheaper in America over the last 25 years: TVs, phones, software, clothes, toys. Now look at what has exploded: college tuition, healthcare, childcare, housing. What separates the two lists? The first lives in competitive markets. The second is exactly where government is most involved: subsidies, mandates, licensing, zoning, regulation. College. Washington lends students almost unlimited money. Universities know the money will always come, so they raise tuition and hire more administrators. The student pays the bill for twenty years. More government money, higher prices. Housing. Why can't a nurse buy a home in the city where she works? Not because of capitalism. Because of zoning laws, permits, environmental reviews, years of procedure to build a single building. The most expensive places to live in America are the places where it's hardest to build. When building is nearly illegal, prices explode. Healthcare. The patient almost never sees the price. A third party pays, regulations limit who can compete, and costs climb year after year with no one able to say no. So here is the trap. The problems you suffer from are not the failure of free markets. They are the places where the market has already been replaced by the state. And the solution you're being offered is more of the same. That's the Trojan horse. It always works the same way. A real problem. A generous-sounding promise. A program that makes things worse. Then the failure of that program becomes the argument for the next one. People who lived under communism in Poland learned to recognize the lie and the mask the lie wears. The lie never presents itself as a lie. It presents itself as compassion. In France we are at the end of that road. Debt we can never repay. Young people who can't afford a home. Our best people leaving. And every few years our cities burn. Nobody voted for this. They voted for one more generous promise, fifty years in a row. If you're a Republican, share this with the Democrat in your life. Not to win an argument. To start a conversation. If you're a Democrat, I'm not asking you to switch teams. I'm asking you to look at the pattern. Wherever the state took over, life became unaffordable. Don't fix the failures of government with more government. Stay American. Ask for less state, not more.
I’m French. I want to talk to Americans who are about to vote Democrat. Not to insult you. To warn you. I come from your future. In France we did everything your progressive politicians promise. Free healthcare, free college, generous welfare, strong unions, heavy regulation, high taxes on the rich, a state that takes care of everything. Public spending close to 57% of GDP, one of the highest on the planet. On paper, it’s the dream. Here’s what it looks like from the inside. France hasn’t passed a balanced budget since 1974. Our debt is above 3,300 billion euros. Interest on that debt is becoming one of the biggest items in the national budget. Our hospitals are collapsing despite record funding. Our schools rank lower every year. Young people with degrees can’t afford an apartment in the city they were born in. Our best engineers leave for London, Zurich and San Francisco. And the rich you wanted to tax? They left too, and took the jobs with them. The promise was protection. The result is stagnation. The worst part is that nobody in France voted for decline. Every single step sounded generous, compassionate, reasonable. One more program. One more regulation. One more tax to fund it. Each step alone makes sense. Fifty years of them, and you wake up in a country that can no longer build a nuclear plant on time or keep its streets safe. I love America because it’s the one place on earth where people still believe they can build something from nothing. I came to Silicon Valley as a self-taught kid and it changed my life. That spirit is the most precious thing your country has. Before you vote, ask yourself one question: is the program you’re voting for making America more like America, or more like France? Trust me. You don’t want to be France.

🇺🇸 SCOTT BESSENT JUST POSTED THIS: Dear Senator Elizabeth Warren: I have received your October 7 letter, which adds to the mounting body of evidence of your complete paucity of knowledge about financial markets. Rather than take my suggestion of studying introductory economics, you have continued your letter-writing crusade and participation in tabloid fodder about the Treasury Department. Unfortunately, it is difficult to treat your concerns as sincere. As the federal funds rate climbed from near zero to its highest level in 22 years, with inflation hitting a 40-year high, you were a cheerleader for the Biden Administration’s reckless spending. You blamed the economic consequences on the Federal Reserve, rather than your own irresponsible fiscal policies. Your view of the economy depends on who occupies the White House, but your woeful understanding of the issues is consistent. The “interventions” you describe as “unprecedented” have been underway since May 2024. The buyback program has been well received by market participants in bolstering Treasury liquidity, which reduces market volatility, increases the convenience yield of Treasury securities and ensures the best value for the taxpayer. The continued enhancements optimize Treasury market liquidity in primary and secondary markets. The U.S. Treasury market’s liquidity and performance versus global peers is evidence. While you voted for a $5 trillion tax hike on everyday Americans, the Working Families Tax Cuts continue to deliver for families and workers across the country. The average refund this filing season was over $3,400, an increase of 11 percent over the previous year. More than 30 million workers claimed No Tax on Overtime, more than 7 million claimed No Tax on Tips, and more than 37 million seniors claimed their enhanced deduction. More than 34 million families claimed the permanently enhanced Child Tax Credit, and millions of families are utilizing Trump Accounts to unlock a new savings vehicle for children. All of which you voted against. These results are made possible by the employees of the Department of the Treasury, who are working around the clock for the American people. Unsurprisingly, you have responded by criticizing their dedication and aptitude for the job in a recent interview.¹ Despite your malign characterization, the Domestic Finance team you alluded to in your interview is fully staffed relative to historical levels. It is ironic that you have voted against every presidential appointee for a position at Treasury, no matter how impressive the qualifications for the role. Given your newfound interest in Department personnel, I challenge you to reverse course and thoughtfully engage with future nominees and support their confirmation. Finally, my offer of a Foreign Exchange for Dummies tutorial still stands and if you receive a passing grade on the Yale metric, not the Harvard curve, I would be happy to also include a Fixed Income for Dummies. Sincerely, Scott Bessent Then he finished with a handwritten note ✍️ Happy Indigenous Peoples’ Day in advance to you and your family. 💀

Guess somebody forgot to check the calendar when they set up the flu ruse. According to the Dallas Morning News, Talarico’s own campaign says he was diagnosed at a Dallas urgent care the night of September 28, too contagious to face Texans. Small problem. He had two back to back New York fundraisers on his own invitations. Monday, September 28, 7:00 pm, downtown Manhattan, with Robert De Niro. Tuesday, September 29, 5:30 pm, Greenwich Village. Texas Scorecard asked the campaign about that second fundraiser. No answer. The Daily Wire asked about the canceled Texas events. No answer. Nobody has explained how he was in a Dallas urgent care the same night he was at a Manhattan reception. Pick a lie, James. Why are you hiding?

Ken Paxton is not corrupt. But you go ahead and repeat everything the MSM and the RINOS continue to say about him. The people who are funding Talarico's campaign are George Soros, the entire Bush family, Karl Rove's pacs, and every RINO in the Senate. John Thune has funneled millions of RNC and other pac money using Tim Scott, who controls the campaign purse strings for the RINOS in D.C. All of these same people blew millions on John Cornyn and Bill Cassidy in Louisiana, but the people of Texas and Louisiana said NO to both of them. Why are they all fighting so hard to destroy Paxton? For the same reason the Republican Texas House voted to impeach him. They are terrified of him because he knows how deep the corruption was in Texas, and he was constantly exposing them. The House voted 121 to 23 to approve 20 articles of impeachment. A majority of Republicans in the House joined with Democrats to pass the impeachment, following an investigation by a bipartisan general investigating committee led by House Republicans and Democrats. The articles primarily alleged abuse of office, bribery, obstruction, and unfitness for office related to aiding political donor and developer Nate Paul. Following his temporary suspension, the Texas Senate held a trial in September 2023 and acquitted Ken Paxton on all tried articles, allowing him to return to office. His attorney Tony Buzbee, proved that many of the people who testified during the Senate trial, had provided false testimonies and had conspired with other members of the Texas House to defame and destroy Paxton. He and his wife Angela, have been separated since June of 2024, and both of their lawyers recently announced they were making significant progress toward a private, amicable settlement. Mrs. Paxton came out today in support of him and urged Texans to vote for all Republicans on the ballot, including him. She loves the people of Texas and America, and she knows the fraud Talarico would be a disaster for both. The reason so many Republicans have done everything they could to destroy Paxton is simple. His campaign ad says it all, "Running for U.S. Senate to take a sledgehammer to the Washington establishment."

Trump put a bounty on the war. $5000 to every citizen if we take the House and the Senate. That check is not a gift. It is spoil from the fight against the communist Left. My Marine buddies and I do not give a damn about the price of fuel. The enemy is already inside the wire. Islamist Marxists are taking this country one city at a time. Big cities first. Your town is next. Quit dooming. Quit sitting home. If they take the midterms, your bitching ends. The same scumbags waving Hamas flags and screaming "globalize the intifada" will call it hate, kill the platform, and dare you to speak. A doomer telling people to stay home is doing their work for them. They never blink when your money leaves the country. They only scream when it comes home. Fuel prices move. A city that no longer answers to Americans does not come back. Get off your ass and vote. Take both chambers. Then primary every RINO who will not fight. We the People against the machine. No more retreat. Hold the line.

After watching people spend the last few days talking about Pike - her childhood, her age, her trauma, her execution, her suffering - I want to talk about Colleen Slemmer. Because somehow the person who was murdered keeps becoming a footnote in the story of the person who murdered her. Colleen was 19 years old. She wasn't a case number. She wasn't simply "Christa Pike's victim." She was a daughter. A granddaughter. A young woman who loved roller-skating, miniature golf and computers. She could take a computer apart and put it back together again. She even had a shirt that said "Computer Geek." Her family later had that shirt made into a teddy bear so they could keep a piece of her close. ❤️ Colleen was also the kind of kid who gave up part of her own lunchtime to help children with disabilities - feeding students who needed assistance and helping kids in wheelchairs. She volunteered at Special Olympics events. One summer, she helped paint her school. She struggled with reading, but she was smart and fascinated by computers. She wanted training that wasn't available at the Job Corps program near her home in Florida, so at 19 years old she left her family and went to Knoxville to learn computers and build a future for herself. She never got that future. On January 12, 1995, Colleen was lured to an isolated area near the University of Tennessee agricultural campus. What happened next wasn't a momentary loss of control. Colleen was beaten and tortured during a prolonged attack. She was cut repeatedly. Her throat was slashed. A pentagram was carved into her chest. She was struck with a meat cleaver and ultimately suffered devastating blows to her head with a large piece of asphalt. Afterward, Pike took a piece of Colleen's skull from the scene. These details come from the court record - not internet rumor. Colleen was 19. Nineteen. And while the country is now being asked to think about what Christa Pike experienced during a failed execution, I think there's room to remember what Colleen experienced when nobody came to stop it. There's also room to remember everything that existed before those final horrifying moments. The girl who loved computers. The girl who roller-skated. The girl who helped children with disabilities eat their lunch. The girl who volunteered at the Special Olympics. The daughter whose mother has now spent more than three decades trying to make sure the world remembers her name. Her mother, May Martinez, said something this week that absolutely broke my heart: "The criminals get so much attention. Why? She has been lost in this." She's right. So today, I'm not posting Christa Pike's face. I'm posting Colleen's name. COLLEEN ANNE SLEMMER September 20, 1975 – January 12, 1995 She was here. She was loved. She mattered. And she deserves to be remembered for the life she lived - not only for the horrific way someone chose to end it. Remember Colleen. 🤍

CNN published a deeply misleading story and headline suggesting that my diplomatic work in the Middle East somehow benefited investments in Israeli defense companies. But CNN’s own reporting says otherwise. Buried behind a paywall, it acknowledges: “CNN found no indication that Kushner’s actions as a diplomat directly affected the investments reviewed.” Phoenix is not a defense company. It is one of Israel’s largest publicly traded financial institutions, highly regulated and managing approximately $220 billion across thousands of investments. Think of Phoenix as the Israeli equivalent of Vanguard or Fidelity. It manages the retirement savings of millions of Israelis. The savers don’t choose the individual investments, and neither do I. I have no role in deciding what Phoenix buys or sells. It has performed very well for Affinity and our investors, up more than five times since our initial investment. Affinity is an SEC-registered investment firm. Our investment in Phoenix is public and dates to before President Trump was re-elected and before I returned to public service. Affinity does not own the defense companies highlighted in CNN’s story. Those facts make for a less provocative headline, but a much more accurate story. Misleading stories will not distract me from the work President Trump asked me to do: help end wars, bring people together and pursue peace. That work is too important.
