AND OH WAIT… THIS IS INSANE.
We just got confirmation of up to 5 (and potentially more) Legends Awaken SSPs which is by far more than 1st edition.
And the bigger thing I’m noticing is the treatment.
These Set 2 SSPs look way more premium. More gold detailing, more texture, heavier full art presentation, and overall they just feel more like true high end chase cards.
(Set 1 had Lyleen playing with that gold accented look, but Set 2 looks like it’s leaning into it WAY harder)

🚨 LET’S TALK ABOUT THE LEGENDARY TRAIT COMING TO THE NEXT PALWORLD SET
Bushiroad has confirmed that Legends Awaken introduces Pals with the Legendary trait and it’s not just there for aesthetics either.
Jetragon specifically interacts with other Legendary Pals, which tells us Bushiroad is already building actual deck synergy around the trait.
So Legends Awaken isn’t just “here are some Legendary Pals with cool art.” It looks like Legendary is becoming an actual mechanical identity inside the game.
(makes sense, it’s literally in the title of the set)
Bushiroad has also confirmed that the new Rank Up mechanic arrives with the Eternal Ascent Trial Decks in December, and Set 3, also called Eternal Ascent, follows shortly after.
Officially, all we really know right now is that Rank Up lets you strengthen your Pals. They still haven’t explained whether Rank Up connects directly to the Legendary trait or if these are completely separate systems.
(but I really don’t think the timing is random)
Set 2 introduces a new trait system centered around Legendaries. Two months later the Trial Decks introduce Rank Up. Then the third booster follows right after under the Eternal Ascent name.
Maybe Rank Up is completely separate. Maybe certain Pals can rank into stronger versions. Maybe traits like Legendary become requirements or part of a bigger system later.
We genuinely don’t know yet.
But what is clear is that Bushiroad is starting to layer more mechanics on top of the base game way faster than Set 1 made it seem.

I’m capitulating on Legends Awaken PO pricing.
If I can get boxes below $100, or better yet below $80, I’m taking them.
The chances of finding those prices are getting slimmer, but if you want Set 2 or feel like you didn’t get enough on preorder, I think you have to start considering capitulation around these levels.
MSRP is always nice, but we all had opportunities to buy Set 1 before and after release. Then demand hit, supply disappeared, and the entire market had to adjust.
Things tend to repeat in waves, and I can see Legends Awaken creating a very similar effect to Set 1.
Maybe we get more supply. Maybe prices cool off. But at some point, waiting for the perfect entry becomes the reason you end up with no position at all.

⚡️ LETS TALK PALWORLD SUPPLY SHORTAGE AND SUPPLY SHOCK
The announcements and Set 2 reveals have been great, but the biggest issue around the Palworld OCG right now might still be the same one we had with Dawn of Palpagos: there just may not be enough product to meet demand.
Legends Awaken preorders have been drying up across a lot of stores and allocations remain unclear. If BP02 launches with the same kind of imbalance we saw with Set 1, a lot of players and collectors are going to be chasing product after release instead of actually being able to buy it normally.
And the Set 1 reprints are starting to look less comfortable than people expected too.
The assumption was that additional 1st Edition shipments and the incoming 2nd Edition would finally flood the market with supply. Instead, a lot of the new stock seems to be getting absorbed almost immediately.
Hopefully October changes that once more Set 1 supply and 2nd Edition start arriving, but as of right now, the size of that supply remains a giant question mark.
Then you have Legends Awaken landing October 30 while demand continues to grow.
If Bushiroad underestimated BP02 the same way the market underestimated BP01, we could be heading straight into another shortage.
(this is pretty obvious)
And honestly, Set 3 might be where this gets even crazier. If Palworld keeps expanding its player base through organized play, new mechanics, tournament promos and the collector market, the next booster could be walking into an even bigger audience than the first two.
BP02 NEEDS MORE SUPPLY.
Another preorder wave or larger allocations would go a long way here.
(because right now “the reprint is coming” and “there will actually be enough product” are starting to look like two very different things)

These CGC Pristine 10 Palworld slabs sold yesterday and somehow almost nobody is talking about it.
The numbers:
Cattiva Gold Soul SSS — $4,716

That is a pretty healthy spread across multiple rarity tiers too.

The raw market has already proven there’s demand, and now the slab market is starting to establish real comps across PSA and CGC.

🚨 PALWORLD TCG MARKET CHECK: 30+ DAYS LATER
It has been insane and the market has cooled off from that first crazy launch window, but it definitely has not collapsed.
TSPs from the Trial Decks are still holding strong floors, with a lot of them sitting well above $500+ and an Elphidran Aqua TSP recently selling around $1,000.
(thats pretty wild for a card coming out of a trial deck product people were and are still sleeping on)
Tournament stuff is also starting to show its own market. Full art promos from the PR packs are selling well above $200, and sealed tournament packs themselves are already moving around $200.
(i told yall not to sleep on the tcg tournaments and play locally)
On sealed product, 1st Edition Dawn of Palpagos is still holding around $130–$150 per booster box, even with reprint news out.
(as expected)
Cases are still hanging around the $1,500+ range, which tells me people are still putting a premium on the original 1st Edition/misprint run.
And then you’ve got the higher-end stuff. Gold Souls, SSPs, graded copies, rare promos, all of that is still finding buyers.
Trial Deck TSPs are strong. Tournament promos are becoming their own lane. 1st Edition sealed is still carrying a premium. High end chases are still setting real comps.
And all of this is happening while we’re getting closer to Legends Awaken, 2nd Edition reprints, Eternal Ascent Trial Decks, and Boosters.
I think the next 60–90 days are going to tell us a lot more about where we’re headed.

(ITS FINALLY HERE)
Dawn of Palpagos is now live with the full set showing up inside Collectr, which means Palworld collectors finally have another real tool for tracking cards, organizing collections and watching values in one place.
This is another pretty big step for the market.
We went from having to manually dig through eBay sales and scattered comps, to TCGplayer finally adding Palworld, and now Collectr is recognizing and supporting the game too.
That may sound small, but infrastructure matters. The more Palworld gets integrated into the same apps and marketplaces people already use for Pokémon, One Piece, Magic and other major TCGs, the more legitimate and accessible the market becomes.

Bushiroad has officially detailed the next wave of Palworld Trial Decks 🔥
(THIS IS INSANE ON SO MANY LEVELS)
Eternal Ascent Red/Green and Blue/Purple launch December 18, and they introduce a brand new mechanic called “Rank Up,” which lets you strengthen your Pals during battle.
That alone is big, but the product itself is also getting upgraded. Each Trial Deck includes 2 TSR/TSP parallel cards in the 50-card Main Deck, plus 2 additional Soul Cards using artwork from Dawn of Palpagos.

Now factor in the market side of this.
Preorders are already closing at a lot of places, allocations have been tight, and we’re still months away from release. If you were waiting around thinking these would be easy to grab later, that window is starting to close.
The timing is also interesting because Legends Awaken drops first, then Eternal Ascent comes in December with a completely new mechanic. That gives Bushiroad a clean path to start building around Rank Up before Set 3 lands in January.
So now the question is whether Legends Awaken starts planting the seeds for it early, or if Eternal Ascent is the true starting point.
Either way, these decks are looking way more important than people were giving them credit for.

The first PSA 10 comp for Chillet – Dragon Whisperer SSP #025 from Dawn of Palpagos has officially closed at $3,050.
(and personally… i think that’s pretty cheap)
Especially when you put it next to what we just watched happen with the Cattiva Gold Soul. That PSA 10 POP 1 closed at $12,050, giving us our first five figure graded Palworld sale.
Now we have one of the biggest SSP chases from Set 1 establishing its first PSA 10 comp at roughly a quarter of that.
Raw Chillet SSPs have already been expensive since release, so seeing the first PSA 10 settle at $3K gives us another real benchmark for the high end Palworld market.

And if Bushiroad keeps doing this with more variants, the deckbuilding and collector side of Legends Awaken could get way deeper than we originally thought.

🚨 IT’S FINALLY HERE: PALWORLD IS NOW SHOWING UP ON TCGPLAYER
After months of having to piece together comps from eBay, stores and scattered sales, TCGplayer is finally starting to populate Palworld listings.
The aggregated pricing data still needs some work. Some of the numbers are not fully adjusted yet, and I would not treat every displayed market price as gospel this early.
I do expect that to improve as more sellers list inventory, more sales actually complete on the platform and TCGplayer gets more transaction data to work with.
For now, always comp and verify on eBay before making a buy or sale decision.
But this is a BIG step.
Palworld finally has another major pricing source.

I’m capitulating on Legends Awaken PO pricing.
If I can get boxes below $100, or better yet below $80, I’m taking them.
The chances of finding those prices are getting slimmer, but if you want Set 2 or feel like you didn’t get enough on preorder, I think you have to start considering capitulation around these levels.
MSRP is always nice, but we all had opportunities to buy Set 1 before and after release. Then demand hit, supply disappeared, and the entire market had to adjust.
Things tend to repeat in waves, and I can see Legends Awaken creating a very similar effect to Set 1.
Maybe we get more supply. Maybe prices cool off. But at some point, waiting for the perfect entry becomes the reason you end up with no position at all.

🚨 PALWORLD ONLINE MAY BE GETTING VERY CLOSE
Korean listings are beginning to circulate claiming Palworld Online pre registration has opened, with an apparent App Store date of November 30, 2026.
BUT important distinction before this gets repeated everywhere:
Garena has NOT officially announced November 30 as the launch date.
The official word from Garena remains simply 2026, with the exact launch timeline still to be announced.
What IS confirmed is already massive: Palworld Online is an officially licensed mobile MMO developed and published by Garena featuring a seamless open world, Pal catching, base building, co-op, PvE, PvP, production automation and an entirely new Palworld story.
And remember, this is Palworld Online, not the separate Palworld Mobile game being developed by Krafton.
BUT if that November 30 App Store date sticks, we could be less than 3 months away meaning, PALWORLD ONLINE MIGHT ACTUALLY BE RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER 👀

Bushiroad has revealed more details for the Japanese Palworld Official Card Game Masters League 26-27, and there is now a direct competitive path from these events to the Japan Finals AND World Finals.
Here’s how the Masters League path works:

🥈 2nd Place → Japan Finals
🥉 3rd Place → Japan Finals
Then at the Japan Finals, additional top finishers will earn qualification to the World Finals.
So every Masters League stop has one guaranteed direct ticket to Worlds and it goes to the champion.
(yeah we’re talking about a palworld tcg WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP and the game has barely been out 😭)
Bushiroad has four Masters League stops scheduled:
Kyoto — September 22, 2026
Tokyo Autumn — October 3, 2026
Tokyo Winter — December 6, 2026
Chiba — February 23, 2027
But there’s another part of this announcement collectors are going to care about.
Bushiroad also revealed the contents of Special PR Card Pack Vol. 1, being distributed at the tournament, and these are actually sick.

FUCK IT, I’M GOING OUT ON A LIMB AND GUESSING THE NEXT PALWORLD TCG PALS
I think there’s a pattern forming here, and if I’m right, this is what’s coming to Legends Awaken and future sets.
(hear me out)
We already know Orserk is part of Set 2, and in the actual game Orserk is paired with Axel as a Tower Boss.
Now go back to Set 1 and look at how Bushiroad treated the Tower Boss characters.
Lily (Set 1) + Lyleen (Set 1)
Victor (Set 1) + Shadowbeak (Set 1)
Axel (Set 1) + Orserk (Set 2)
Zoe (Set 1) + Grizzbolt (Set ?)
Marcus (Set ?) + Faleris (Set ?)
(keep in mind these are pre 1.0 tower bosses)
We got strategy cards built around some of these characters, and some of those tower boss relationships ended up getting serious SP/chase treatment.
So if Bushiroad continues pulling from that same part of Palworld, there’s a few pairings sitting right in front of us:
Zoe + Grizzbolt
Or
Marcus + Faleris
OR (the obvious with promo art)
Saya + Selyne
So my prediction is either gets revealed for Legends Awaken.
But there’s another direction they could take this.
Palworld 1.0 expanded the Tower Boss roster, including Auri + Shaolong, so Shaolong is absolutely sitting there as another candidate if Bushiroad wants to start bringing newer Tower pairings into the TCG.
And if Shaolong appears, I’m immediately looking for an Auri Strategy card somewhere in the set.
Basically I’m starting to think the Pal reveals themselves might only be half the puzzle.
The Tower partner tells us which Strategy cards could be coming with them and what we can expect.

Zoe → Grizzbolt
Marcus → Faleris
Saya → Selyne
Auri → Shaolong

And this isn’t just another familiar Pal getting a card. Orserk is a Dragon/Electric Pal and it’s one of the high powered Pals players are only now getting familiar with. The Japanese game databases list Volzex/Orserk as Dragon/Electric with extremely high offensive stats, and it appears as an alpha and boss encounter.
It looks like Set 2 isn’t simply going back through Palworld’s established roster and giving the famous legendaries cards.
(that’s actually huge because the tcg is already catching up with what’s happening inside the game)
And remember, Legends Awaken has 100 base card types plus parallels, so there is still a LOT we haven’t seen.

Yesterday we frontran today’s reveal after the official Palworld Card Game account showed Frostallion and teased another illustration for today.
Well, there it is.
FROSTALLION NOCT has officially been revealed for Legends Awaken.
(we already knew this one was coming from the bushiroad conference, so i can’t pretend to be surprised lol)
But now we’ve run out of freebies.
The official account is teasing ANOTHER illustration reveal tomorrow, and unlike Frostallion, we don’t have an obvious counterpart sitting there waiting to be announced.
So far this run has given us some of Palworld’s biggest heavy hitters:
Jetragon, Frostallion and Frostallion Noct.
All three are Legendary Pals, which makes me wonder if they’re deliberately revealing the Legendaries of Legends Awaken one by one.
And if that’s the pattern…

The main Japanese Palworld Card Game account just revealed the newest illustration for “Glacial” in Legends Awaken, releasing October 30.
For anyone confused by the name, Glacial (グレイシャル) is Frostallion’s Japanese name.
So yes, FROSTALLION IS OFFICIALLY IN SET 2.
(but this is where we’re going to front run tomorrow’s announcement a little bit lol)
If you remember the Bushiroad English Conference, they already showed early Legends Awaken artwork featuring Frostallion AND Frostallion Noct, alongside Jetragon. Bushiroad also confirmed the set is built around Legendary Pals and will contain alternate illustrations/parallels.
Yesterday they revealed Jetragon.
Today it’s Frostallion.
And the official account ended today’s post with:
“Look forward to tomorrow’s reveal too 👀”
I think we have a pretty good idea where this might be going.
FROSTALLION NOCT.
And that’s where set 2 gets interesting from an actual card game perspective. Frostallion is an Ice Legendary, while Frostallion Noct is its Dark Legendary counterpart.
If Bushiroad translates that relationship into the TCG, we could potentially see two versions of the same Legendary built around completely different colors, decks or mechanics.
(that’s speculation until we actually see the cards but they didn’t show both versions at the conference for no reason)
And we’re still only seeing illustrations, not the final cards, rarities or chase treatments.

This lines up with what Bushiroad showed during its recent conference. Legends Awaken is centered around some of Palworld’s biggest Legendary Pals, and we’ve already gotten early looks at artwork featuring Frostallion, Jetragon and Frostallion Noct, along with other characters expected in the set.
What I’m really watching now is which pieces get the chase treatment.
There appears to be multiple illustrations for some Pals, one possibility is that we’re seeing the normal version alongside artwork intended for an SP or SSP treatment. That hasn’t been confirmed yet, but considering what Dawn of Palpagos did with its chase cards, the reveals over the next few weeks could tell us a lot.
(personally i’m waiting for them to show us the set 2 SSPs because that’s when shit gets serious)
