Prognosticator. Inventor. Thinker.

Yes, change the name to the one thing that experts said would kill our species, superintelligence lol.
Renaming Artificial Intelligence to Super Intelligence was the right move. Doomers have spent years poisoning the term "AI" with fear and dystopian fantasies. It carries too much baggage now. Super Intelligence puts the focus back where it belongs: on ambition, progress, and what we can build.

It is amazing, and also so stupid that people are burning tokens on recreating throw away software. Build something new for god sake! Yes, it is amazing. Use it for good, not the evil of xcel 97 !
I asked Claude to replicate Excel 97 in its entirety, and it did it in about 10 minutes. I've been playing around with it for a while and I can't find any faults. THIS IS A SINGLE 11 WORD PROMPT!! How can anyone possibly think AI hasn't arrived yet???

We won't get anything close to what we recognize as consciousness until we get massively parallel, actively/constant processing/learning neuron hardware.
I still have yet to hear a convincing argument that LLMs are *definitely* not conscious.

*as we know it. Non carbon/water based life could easily be out there in far greater temperature extremes. In fact is it more likely given that most planets don't share our narrow temperature range?
Incendiamoeba cascadensis, a newly discovered lifeform on Earth, can survive at 147’F (64’C). Bodes well for extraterrestrial life cell.com/cell/fulltext/S0092…

There is no real excuse for bad dubbing anymore @netflix . Are you working on something better? I'm shocked when I pull up a movie and the character's lips are terribly mismatched to the words. I'd expect Netflix to be leading on this tech.

Will it serve up the Epstein files?
We launched America.gov today. The federal government has over 27,000 websites. Most are outdated and confusing. You can't just fix one site at a time. So we built one beautiful product to replace them all. One place to find anything you need in the government and get it done. Check it out below and let me know your thoughts!

Agents will create the problems that you will require an agent to fix.
Instinct CEO Noah Shinn says agents will let restaurants give tables to birthdays and anniversaries over whoever clicks first "And traditionally, because of the way that the internet has worked, at least for reservations, it's been first come first serve. So anyone that comes in, no matter how important or how not important it might be, whoever gets in first gets the reservation." "But what if you had the ability for the agent to be able to communicate on both sides, communicate, hey, this is important. This is actually the person's spouse's birthday, the 30th birthday, a very special event is coming up." "And the restaurant too can say, let's actually prioritize birthdays or major decade birthdays or major anniversaries or these certain people, I don't know, whatever it might be, right?" "So now with the ability, with all of the logistical burden of having to describe exactly what your case is and what's happening and why it's important. Now we have the ability to perfectly match what does the restaurant want? What does the user want?" "And that will result in more special events for the users being able to actually have a spot in the restaurant."

Shocking how fast the narrative changes around frontier models. Astra went from apex to meh, and Opus branding now once again reigns supreme with its javascript video productions.

I think a huge amount of software engineering talent are actually creatives who found a viable career where you’re paid well to create things all day. Just building things with logic instead of physical materials.
I was one of those nerds. You've missed the way I'm adapting to AI, which is by moving *up* the stack rather than down. My job is design and specification now, not coding. I was a hand-coder for nearly 50 years. I find I miss it surprisingly little. I guess I was a designer after all.

Hate to break it to you, but by the time we are ready to leave the solar system our bodies will be bio-engineered on the fly to whatever requirements they need to meet.
Humanity is never going to leave the solar system. It’s much too distant and our bodies are not made for it. Things made by humanity have left the solar system (arguably) and will continue to. Those probes will be intelligent. Hopefully they will carry knowledge of us to someone else in some other time.

It's interesting, but it always feels like getting more of something we already have more than enough of. What new use cases is this unlocking is the more interesting question I haven't really seen answered.
This is what $2,175 of Opus 5.5 tokens can do! Let him cook on my gaming laptop and do whatever it takes, also gave Unity, Blender and APIs. 36 hours, 7.85 B tokens, $230 for 2d/3d/music generation and I got playable old school MMO RPG. That is just insane...

Ai will actually create the problems that "normies" need to solve with Ai. e.g. If you can't get a concert ticket because agents take them all immediately, then you have to get an agent to get concert tickets.
here's the tension - when i told some people "you can use agents to build anything you want now", they literally don't give a damn, because they never wanted to build anything in the first place but i don't agree we should then look at that and say "people lack imagination" it's actually the classic question of pain killer vs vitamin. for the most part, AI feels like vitamin right now. people are living their lives just fine without it when they look at how AI people talk about AI, it's either a tech bro posting screenshot of 10 monitors running 50 terminals shipping absolutely nothing useful, or "look you can book a whole vacation trip with this agent" while many people don't even have the money or time for a vacation the problem is not people's imagination. i don't think people are responsible for imagining problems they don't have i think the problem is that people making AI are all silicon valley multi-millionaires who have a very different set of problems from the mainstream consumers this is not meant as criticism to AI builders (i am one myself) - i just think it's worth pointing out the disconnect and the fact that we still have a long way to go to figure out what real problems AI can actually solve for a lot of people as a pain killer not a vitamin, and nail both the messaging and the actual products to deliver the value

Maybe Apple is playing a smarter game than I thought. Just wait for commoditized highly intelligent local sized models and provide hardware platforms that run them locally, keeping the walled garden intact.
Apple has shared a chart of their on-device AI capabilities across their product lines

Hell yeah. This is a hype video for western civilization. Love it!
holy shit i asked claude to make a video on western civiization

Muse is to OpenClaw what AWS was to the company server rack. Virtualized, hosted version of what you can do yourself.
Bruh… Muse is LITERALLY Openclaw for normies. It’s actually just openclaw.

So how long before there are 10 versions of the Jev model, from every frontier lab and Chinese ai company?

Gosh, how would AI ever get access to a lab in order to create a killer virus? 😂
BREAKING: Anthropic quietly set up wet lab in the Bay Area to develop its AI drug discovery program, per Reuters.

Next there will be a "law office" harness that operationalizes this for anyone to have their own personal legal team instead of hiring a firm... like software engineering got with Claude Code and others.
Astra for Law: Frontier intelligence built for your practice. A new offering powered by GPT-6 Astra with tools, settings, and context to support the expertise and judgment of lawyers and legal technology firms.

Of course he didn't listen to the one guy who isn't in it for the money.
SITUATION DETECTED: Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, and Jensen Huang all told President Trump they opposed a FINRA-style industry body that Demis Hassabis had been pitching to the White House. Ultimately Trump decided not to create it, per WSJ.
