I stopped at a gas station today, and while waiting in line I noticed an ATM receipt someone had left behind.
Remaining balance: $146.
I don’t know who it belonged to. I don’t know their story. Maybe payday is tomorrow. Maybe that’s everything they have.
But it reminded me of something:
Be extremely fucking grateful for what you have.
While you’re worried about your portfolio, your investments, the next house, the next car, or making more money, someone else is trying to figure out how to make $146 last.
You never really know what the person standing next to you is going through.
Stay hungry. Keep building. But never let ambition make you forget how blessed you already are.
