Still want to believe in the magic of life

Edmonton, Alberta

The Trump regime needs Canada's clean water and other resources, and we won't consent to being a vassal state. Since they can't take Canada all at once, they'll use our home grown traitors to take it one province at a time.

This hits the nail on the head. Alberta separatists are rolling out the red carpet for Trump Republicans. But “freedom” is the last thing we’ll get if we open the door to becoming “MAGA North.” Thanks to artist David Parkins from the Globe and Mail for this drawing.

Trump regime: "Canada better not interfere in U.S. midterms!" They said this while interfering in Canadian politics, meeting with Alberta separatists. Every accusation is a confession.

The UCP is abysmal. Richest province yet they selfishly want to keep the lowest paid workers well under poverty. They should be ashamed of themselves. Sadly they keep proving they have no integrity or morals so here we are.
Every single jurisdiction in Canada raised its minimum wage in 2026. Or rather, almost all of them. Alberta hasn’t bothered in eight years — and now has the country’s lowest rate. Read the blog: parklandinstitute.ca/2026_mi…

Mayor of Calgary: "It's really rich to see from some of these leaders in the separatist movement, they talk a lot about freedom, they talk a lot about sovereignty. And when they go down south of the border, offering our water, our land, our oil, this is not about taking back Alberta, this is about selling out Alberta."

That is *so* true! I remember that as well. We would tour around delegations from other countries and show them how we integrated great Universities with a novel health system that spanned the province seamlessly. They were blown away. Not anymore - now we need help.

I recall a time, not long ago, when these countries were visiting Alberta on these matters.

The University of Toronto cut ties with frats in the 1960s because they failed to admit a Black student. Queens University bans them outright. Frats are a nearly non-existent part of campus life across Canada and hopefully will stay that way.

Choosing option 2 absolutely makes you a separatist. Hope this helps.
PSA: Choosing Option 2 on the referendum does not, by itself, make you a separatist, and it does not take Alberta out of Canada. Someone can want that vote held (and the information that would come with it) and still intend to vote to stay if it happens. There are a lot of NPC's out there attempting to shame people into voting one way or another. You do you. Hope this helps.

The rationale is that there already are about 8 investigations ongoing in Alberta for a variety of violations, many linked to the separatists and the UCP government including the Premier’s insiders. We don’t need an emergency debate to direct law enforcement who are already engaged. What she should have asked for is a debate about why the Alberta government has yet to produce the year ending books that were due June 30th.

Foreign workers visited Alberta emergency rooms ~30,000 times last year out of ~2.3 million visits. Meaning, foreign workers were 1.3% of total visits. Foreign workers are not responsible for the state of Alberta health care. #ableg edmontonjournal.com/news/pol…
