My latest is out via Indigenous Insider. This is wild- as is Wild West Alberta. A court-appointed receiver says $11.5M from one First Nation’s trust helped pay what separatist leader Jeff Rath’s firm owed another First Nation. Then it turned into gold bullion. Now they can’t find the money. This is who’s leading Alberta toward the Oct. 19 vote to leave Canada.
Meanwhile, separatists have been screaming for First Nations Chiefs to be audited…

Yes, you held consultations over the summer. But they were performative. You chose the perceived interests of investors over the real-life interests of workers. If this is passed into law, expect Smith, Ford and other Premiers to follow suit at the provincial level.
Over the summer, we consulted Canadian workers, unions, employers, Indigenous Peoples, provinces and territories, industry, and other partners about what Canada needs to build a stronger economy.
We listened. Our government just introduced the most significant economic legislation in decades. The Building Canada Strong Act will deliver faster project approvals, stronger supply chains, and safer workplaces with strong protections and security for workers. 🇨🇦
