Coaches POV after this Patch: Hey guys, we will be playing a match against your team next weekend, could you please share some of your player replays with us? We give you 50 replays, you give us 50 replays. Deal?

More info about the ZUIAN rejection and the whole LPL visa process, how Creme almost missed Worlds as well : 👇🧵

hosting worlds in the us was def the right choice wasn’t it xdddd

Psychoanalysis of the players and their emotional states is my least favourite element of esports casting.

Why is one of these Yu-Gi-Oh! Adolf Hitler and the other is a cheeky tool for a fan favorite rogue deck?

They’re cooking but 115 never stopped Sky, @Carra23 and the other goons on there from glazing City. They covered them like nothing happened and asked if Arsenal were cheats after they received a red card at the Etihad. This kinda coverage is all too late.

Por eso siempre hay que hacer las preguntas incómodas. Al final del día la calve siempre estará en la respuesta... o ausencia de.

This whole red cartel narrative people are using to defend Man City is nonsense. United have been awful for 13 years & have a huge debt issue. Liverpool were awful during my entire childhood. They had to sell Suarez, Torres, Owen, Alonso, Sterling , Coutinho & had Roy Hodgson as their manager at one point. Apart from two random seasons where they finished 2nd, they finished 4th to 8th loads of times. Took them 30 years to win a league title. Then you have the obvious one in Arsenal. 22 year title drought, 9 year trophy drought, selling our best players to rivals every year & signing one if we were lucky. Also had the second lowest net spend in the entire league. We went unbeaten & had to sacrifice a potential dynasty in order to pay off stadium debt correctly. Wenger even had to sign a new contract, otherwise we wouldn’t have got the loan. Apparently, Man City or Chelsea breaking the rules made the league competitive and without them the PL would’ve become Ligue 1. Man City & Chelsea have won 9 of the last 13 titles so how is that more competitive? Their cheating have prevented others being competitive too. Tottenham put in 2 serious title challenges until they sold Walker to Man City. Everton were pushing for Europe & even CL & haven’t come close since selling Stones to Man City. Villa finished 6th 3 years in a row but sold Barry, Milner & Delph to Man City. Villa got relegated within a few seasons.

🚨💣 THE NEGREIRA CASE — FULL RECAP: • Between 2001 and 2018, FC Barcelona paid approximately €7.3 million to José María Enríquez Negreira. • Negriera was the Vice-President of Spain’s Technical Committee of Referees (CTA) — effectively one of the most senior figures inside the Spanish refereeing structure. • He held that position from 1994 until 2018. • Barcelona's payments therefore continued for approximately 17 years while Negreira occupied a senior position within the refereeing establishment. • Payments were made under different Barcelona presidencies: — Joan Gaspart — Joan Laporta — Sandro Rosell — Josep Maria Bartomeu • The payments suddenly stopped in 2018 — the same year Negreira left the Spain’s Technical Committee of Referees. • Barcelona's official explanation is that it paid for "technical reports and scouting information about referees" that they handed over to coaches and coaching staffs to prepare for matches • However, when investigators called up former Barca coaches such as Luis Enrique and Ernesto Valverde and asked them about these reports, they said they had NEVER seen them or used them. • Barcelona therefore spent millions of euros on "reports" that they never used. • When investigators asked Negreira himself what the millions were for, he said "They paid me to ensure refereeing neutrality." • When investigators then asked Joan Laporta about Negreira saying "he was paid to ensure refereeing neutrality", Laporta said "We never asked him to do that." • Investigators examined invoices issued to Barça by to Negreira. • One invoice dated 30 November 2005 was for €60,000 and described the expenditure as "aloe vera gift pack" • When prosecutor asked Joan Laporta whether invoices such as this were connected to the alleged referee reports/services, his reply was "I don't know." • Another invoice, for around €139,000, referred to having selected/digitized footage from the South Africa 2010 World Cup. • The problem? The 2010 World Cup wasn't even played yet. • This pattern repeated for multiple internatonal tournaments, where invoices were made before these tournaments were ever played. • La Liga say the reason they are not sanctioning Barcelona for this scandal, is because the statute of limitations is of 3 years only, and the case was revealed in 2023, which means the statute of limitations has passed. • The case is now in criminal court. • UEFA have now launched their own investigation, and they could BAN Barcelona from their competitions if they find them guilty.

Is voting public? Every club and its fans have a right to know which side the owners and execs of their clubs voted on so they can hold them accountable. This is about fairness in the beautiful game and not vested monetary interests of a few.

Surely any sponsor in the traditional sense would be thinking about suing a CLUB in this situation, for reputational damage, not the governing body. Kind of gives the entire game away doesn't it.

Andrew Painter is the 1st pitcher in Phillies history to earn the win while making his postseason debut in a potential elimination game.

J.T. Realmuto on Andrew Painter's gutsy three-inning appearance out of the bullpen in Game 2:

The Phillies win one of the best baseball games I've ever seen. Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, and Alec Bohm hit monster home runs late. Cristopher Sanchez battled, and Andrew Painter threw the biggest 3 innings of his entire life. There will be a Game 3 on Thursday. Holy shit.

This is the reality of global politics.
