I’m not the greatest fan of PGMOL as many followers will know. They act like a secret society that are in desperate need of being independently audit. However, Mike Deans revelations has done a total disservice to @PGMOL_FA and current referees & assistants, especially those in the lower leagues where I imagine it’s difficult enough without this happening. I would like to believe Premier League refs are by and large honest and trustworthy, that sometimes make an honest mistake. Mike Dean for me fell into a different category, egotistical, attention seeker prima Donna, who was challenged by many managers over obvious dubious decisions and had a poor reputation by most outside of the PGMOL. If his errors were so obvious to so many, why wasn’t it as obvious for the PGMOL to act on it? Interesting to see how this gets managed.
